i wish we were given more background on yuki, like how did she survive being a star plasma vessel? if the main goal is to sacrifice them to tengen in the end, why is she alive?

what i do know, is she went through everything alone. in my heart she’s a sorcerer from a non-sorcerer family (maybe she was adopted, i’ll have to put more thought into that), so she kind of isolated herself from her family, so the burden of her eventual demise wouldn’t be as heavy. she didn’t have a kuroi to rely on, it was just her.

…although, now that i’m typing this out, i think she got scared and fled entirely. on the day that she was supposed to be given to tengen, the idea of dying, being a battery for something that wasn’t human anymore scared her enough to go away, most likely from the country, thus beginning her hatred for jujutsu society and avoidance of them.

the challenge is kind of exciting, the unknown that's just around the corner. must be one hell of a duo, indeed, if the ones who issued the bounty felt like it was a two person job.

i was thinking about her stance on The Question (what kind of women are you into?), and i think she does use it as a judge of character. not in the “finding out if we have the same type” way, but she judges people based on if they’re respectful in describing their type. if person answers in a perverted way, she might pull a todo

weird isn’t what she’s going for, when showing off her shikigami. garuda is her pride and joy, both in and out of battle. he’s a big reason as to why she’s a special grade in the first place, even if she’s utilizing that rank by teaching the next generation of jujutsu sorcerers. in a way, he’s kind of like her baby. so to have him be called weird, is like a little punch to the gut.

“ it doesn’t sound like you mean it. ” other shikigami could be seen as cute, something that could be widely agreed upon. garuda didn’t resemble the cutesy shikigami she had seen in the past, but she thought he was still cute, even if he’s both snake and worm. “ well, i guess this could be a learning opportunity— ” even if she hurts for the shikigami, who doesn’t know any better. “ —looks don’t matter, as long as you’re out there being badass. my technique wouldn’t be as powerful, if not for this little guy. so, we’ve just got to find out what your version of a garuda is. even if you’re not relying on a shikigami. ”
