Undertaker appeared in a mist then stood just in front of the carnage the doll had left. He smiled at the grizzly sight. "My buy we have a taste for the macabre do we not?" He cooed.
He produced his scythe as he called forth the soul of the girl once known as Alice. It appeared to him as a brightly glowing orb. He didn't open any books on this soul because he intended to keep it bound to this realm. If he brought out the recorder, he would have had no choice but to let it pass to the next level.
After cutting it free from the body in which it had been given, he held it just above his hand as if it were hanging in thin air. He turned slowly and grinned at the doll.  "I believe this is yours now my dear?"

He was fascinated at the ability of the soul that had inhibited the doll and wondered what the addition of Alice's would do. He continued to smile in innocent amazement as he watched it leave the body of the doll and exit the room.
He checked the time and gripped his scythe. "This should prove to be a very interesting night! Wouldn't you agree my friend?" He asked the weapon. Even though he knew it was incapable of answering him, he still carried on conversations with it on a regular basis.

Curiosity drove the Undertaker and gave him the meaning to his otherwise dreadful existence, so he was more than willing to do the doll's bidding. "Very well then my dear." He grinned wider and brought forth his scythe. "How soon would you like to have it?"
Being a reaper, he could collect the soul literally any time, day or night. She only had to give the word and it was as good as hers!

"Alice?" He questioned. "I know her well...such a lovely creature!" He thought about the prospect for a few seconds, then turned to the doll again. "Tell me...what would you do with a soul such as hers? Would you claim her life to live...or yours?"
All this was incredibly intriguing to him as his life ling dream was beginning to come to light. He had waited for this moment for so long now, he could hardly believe it was actually happening!

Undertaker took another step closer to her and held out a hand to touch her face, his long black nails more an extension of his fingers than anything else. "Ah, so she speaks as well!" He chuckled softly. "What a pleasure!"
His smile never faded as he studied the colorless eyes set in the dead face. "My proposition is a simple one. You choose and end the lives of the people with the souls you want, and I collect them for you. Together we can make more like you and bring them to life with the souls we collect!"

Undertaker knew better than to mess with the dolls, but he couldn't help himself. They were his favorite past time and so intriguing to him! He watched on awe as the doll seemed to come to life before his very eyes and began to dance. His smile growing wider, revealing his razor sharp teeth, and his golden eyes glowing brightly in the dim moonlight.
He could literally feel the murderous intent in the doll's cold hard heart as she danced to the macabre tune coming from the dusty piano.
"Perhaps we could work together...hmm?" He whispered in a soft chuckle.
Dear Alice || Doll!Neme
Her body creased with the joints that hinged her body together, lost in that mansion at the top of the hill; the one with the over grown petrified tried clawing at the tall victorian walls. She hung on strings, her eyes always closed until they lifted her into the air with the sound of a piano in severe need of dusting. Her heart only appeared the beat while her her limbs danced with the keys pressed.
1…2…3….4. Her hard skin clicked on the ground, her eyes closed with lack of life in her head. The only thought in her head was… murder.

It was because of that happening that caused his absence. It hadn’t taken him long to figure out that the entity was indeed after both him and Catherine but he knew that it wouldn’t take the daughter without first having the father so he fled in an attempt to draw the evil force away from his precious family until he could successfully destroy it, and he had. That was why he risked returning now and not sooner.
He looked at the window and nodded in approval. “It’s a fine job.” He complimented.
He took off his cloak and folded it across the back of the chair at the side of the bed then sat on the edge, simply wanting to be near her and see her beautiful face once again. “I missed you terribly.” He whispered.
From the shadows of the still, dark night he watched her as he had so many nights before but he didn't move to let her know he was there. As a soft breeze drifted through the open window and gently ruffled the curtains, he disappeared in a misty cloud. The only trace left to prove he had ever been there was the sound of his voice in the distance whispering her name..."Mei-Rin..."
Mei-Rin had managed to fall asleep this night, but her sleep was quite shallow and light. No wonder that a soft motion, followed by a whisper, woke her up. Of course, she was not quite sure if something had happened in reality or in her dream, but she looked around.
“E- excuse me?” she asked, her voice still quite hoarse from the sleep. “Who’s there?”

(Inionadhlacora) "The skeleton war is coming. What are your thoughts on it this year, daddy?"
He laughed lightly then scratched his chin. “No bones about it! The war draws near!”

He then made himself fully visible and closed the short distance between them. Cupping her face in his hands, he couldn’t stop himself from placing a feather soft kiss on her lips. “I’ve missed you so much...and Catherine too...” He kissed her again before letting go and stepping back.
“I was so afraid you would be angry and tell me to leave.” He admitted sadly. “How have you been?”

Against his better judgement, he began to make himself visible to her. “I’m sorry Mei-Rin.” He was apologizing for so many things at once with just those two little words, but it was paramount he know where he stood with her. Did she even still want him in her life now that it was painfully apparent he wouldn’t ever be a permanent fixture in her or their daughter’s lives? Even though it wouldn’t surprise him, it certainly would hurt him to the core if she told him to leave and never return.

In the fleeting moments after leaving her bedroom, he heard her voice and it caused him to stop. Still nothing but a mist, he turned and looked longingly at the house they once shared. Should he go back? Or should he keep going and never return? He shouldn’t have come this time but he couldn’t stop himself. It had been so long since he had seen her beautiful face, he simply couldn’t help it and now, here he was faced with the decision he never wanted to have to make.
In a monumental moment of indecision, he found himself drifting back towards the house and to her. “You can here me?” He questioned softly as he went back to the foot of her bed, hovering there like a late night fog.

It was a curiosity indeed that she didn’t remember anything else prior to waking up in the dorms because Grell had nearly been done in by her. Had it not been for the intervention Undertaker provided, neither she nor Grell would have survived that night!
“Well I must tell you...you were perhaps the strongest one I have seen in a while! Your battle was not an easy one to win! It took both Grell and myself to bring you home so to speak.” He gave a little chuckle as the memory played through his mind. “It has been a very long time since I have faced such a worthy opponent. You should be proud of yourself.”
“You remind me of someone.” The line was out before he even realized he had spoken. He groaned inwardly at just how corny he must have sounded to her.
The young redheaded reaper looked over to the elder reaper from working on a recent report. Only recently she had graduated from the academy receiving her very own pair of glasses from pops. To be honest this reaper wasn’t the first to mention such to her and she figured it was due to looking like the reaper she called her big brother.
Looking up at the silver haired reaper Nina tilted her head slightly. “Might you be looking for Grell then?” She asked, she hadn’t meant to come off snobish even though she was sure that was how she had sounded.

He was starving and the food smelled beyond delicious. He joined her at the table and smiled; “This is one of the things I missed the most!” He chuckled.

“Believe it my love.” He whispered, his voice as soft as the cooing of a dove. “Believe it with all you heart because you know it is real and I am here to stay as long as I am allowed by the Higher Powers.
His entire life had been governed by those Higher Powers and he had accepted it without question but now...now that he had been allowed to find love and happiness, he couldn’t help but wonder if peace was going to be allowed for them to have or was fate going to play a cruel trick on them. He prayed almost every waking moment for the former because the latter would surely be the beginning of his end.

Once he was changed for bed, he slipped in between the covers with her and smiled as he took her into the circle of his arms. “I have missed this most of all.” He cooed softly.
Many were the nights his arms had literally ached to feel her in them. To feel her warmth and hear her breathing...her heartbeat and the soft whispers from her slumber. He thought that if he could never feel and hear those things again that he would go completely insane!
