Having an oven means trying endless recipes especially cakes and confections. Last week of August is full of birthday celebration, tried baking and cooking which is tiring but fulfiling. I want to believe that I am a breastfeeding advocate BUT I am not condemning mothers who chose to formula fed their babies. Feed is important. Sanity and living pressure free from society standards is equally important as well. The breastfeeding month for me reminds me how powerful and magical our body is. When you believe that you can do it, you will surely succeed. Of course, the power of having a supportive community is very helpful. Women should uplift instead of criticizing each other. One of the benefits of wfh is not being stuck in traffic and was able to do backlogs when it comes to journaling. I’m still doing some from last year because my August and October spread are incomplete. (I need the printed polaroids! 😢) But, I’m almost there! My 2020 is almost up to date. ❤️ Fun fact: my love for journaling started when I was in Grade 3. I have that diary/daily journal that has a heart shaped lock. I found it recently and puro puppy love lang nakalagay. Nakakaloka. Haha. Those were the days when your problem is about your crush and if your friends are keeping your secrets. 😂😉 PS. I am always thankful to God for blessing us with two angels. Honestly, it was never easy — you will need more of patience, understanding, love and commitment. Our family portrait is not what you expect as very perfect images like what you see in pinterest. When @debrisss told me that she wants a raw elements in her photos, i did not hesitate. My 2019 journal is not yet finished. Been digging archives since I was stuck on August 2019 (Gyvy’s birthday). To tell you the truth, i’ve been very emotional to write everything so I took a break... but it’s been a long break so here I am, finishing my 2019 memoirs but starting my 2020. It’s gonna be busy already but I love how I feel happy whenever I’m journaling. Cried so many times because of hair fall. It’s worst this time because no matter what I do — i don’t use shampoo, not combing my hair already, use rosemary essential oil — but my hair is all over our house (floor, drainage and sink in the bathroom, pillows, bed, etc). I want my long and wavy hair so bad but motherhood hormones is real. I feel sad to have it cut but the moment I got home — the little boy hug me so tight and my baby girl miss my boob already.
