almost none of the reasons why i support abortion rights have anything to do with babies. really it’s more about the fact that I think the government shouldn’t be able to force you to lend all your organs to someone else and change irreparably in the process. is a fetus a person? I don’t care! If it is a person, I don’t want anyone to be forced to host one against their will! If it isn’t a person, guess what? Nobody should be forced to host one against their will! What’s a soul? What’s a person? When does life begin? IRRELEVANT! A world in which the government can force anyone to manufacture an entirely new human body at the cost of their own is not a world I want to live in!

Due to a protest at my college, Hillel had to move tonight’s Seder to a secret location and have barred last-minute registrations.

I signed up in time to go, but I’m disappointed that some people who want to go may not be able to. I really wish this was an event that could be more open to students who may have been on the fence about going.

The fact that Hillel has to hide the location of a Passover Seder is horrifying to me.

Yes, I should have said. I am mocking an actual published rock journalist, not a fan. Fans write much better than this anyway!

The singer is lovingly perched infant-style in the lap of the guitarist, thumb firmly planted in mouth. He swings his legs playfully, rocking to and fro, resting his head on the shoulder of his smiling holder. Giggle and squirm. Stumbling upon this scene, one might quickly surmise that these two rather giddy Irishmen have perhaps spent a wee bit too much time cooped up together over the past many months of recording. “That may be true,” laughs the man they call The Edge, awkwardly cradling the artist formally known as Bono. “We miss each other now if we don’t see each other every day.” “He’s adoptin’ me,” beams Bono, ceremoniously popping the thumb from his mouth. “Right, dad?” “Son, I must say, ya did… very… well,” says Edge with paternal authority, patting sonny Bono on the leg for emphasis. “Ya made a great record. I just love that singin’.” “Thanks, dad.” murmurs Bono with mock shyness. “An' I tried not to scratch the car. I just wanted to see where I could take ‘er.”
