As long as you understand how terrible rhyme is, and why you should never date someone like him in real life, then finding bad characters attractive in fiction is not a crime. but I feel like if i wrote out all the reasons why some may fantasize about being rhymes partner, i'd have to censor a lot of it due to its severity. i respect your attraction however, and I can not say I have never felt the same way when designing him and thinking about him! have a nice day

I love your OC’s and the story you’ve got going rn!! I really like Wes and Static’s story so far, and was wondering if the eyes were meant to be anything symbolic? I took it as a piece of religious trauma so I was just curious

Hello! I'm glad you are enjoying my webcomic. Without giving spoilers, I will say that many fans have interpreted the eyes as metaphorical, or what Static had gone through as metaphorical. I can safely say that the eyes are not metaphorical. They are much a real entity in the story. Mac Wes and Static have all seen them and described them the exact same way, making them known as a physical factor in the story. They have been revealed recently as the cause of Static's electrical power, showing themselves to Static as a warning to what may get worse if he doesn't return the magic to the artifact. As for what happened in the Church, Static's age did not pass - but years did, as he was trapped in a time stasis. That was not a metaphor either, and was caused by whatever is following him around with 1000 eyes. Once Static was released from the stasis, he felt almost lost in this current time period.

In this universe, there is no solid god. but there are entities that are not humanoid that may show themselves through magical circumstances. We have seen this before with what lives inside of Birthday. These entities are not studied, and it is hard for people who fall victim to circumstances like this to get any help from doctors or other people, as it makes them look disconnected from reality. Other people can not see the entities, unless the entities show themselves first. Hence why Static latched onto Wes so quickly about the matter that has been plaguing him for literal years. Someone could finally see what was going on with him.

Static is a normal alpaca, flesh and blood. The only magic he has is electromancy. He has simply fallen victim to something awful that he has gotten used to keeping silent about.
