I don’t really begrudge WWE wrestlers working saudi shows tbh given their limited options, but i just wanna point out that of all the wrestlers on the roster, CM Punk absolutely has the most leverage to get out of doing them if he really cared to.

Even leaving aside how incredibly over he is, his whole cult of personality persona is that he’s the good guy anti authoritarian rebel punk speaking truth to power.

If TKO releases or punishes him for sticking to his morals and refusing to do a saudi show, all he would need to do is tweet about it and the IWC would explode.

The whole R Truth situation happening right now makes it even easier! We’ve seen that nick khan, at least, seems to believe this kind of fan backlash will hurt their bottom line.
