Colleen hoover shows us every good thing about a character, romanticizes it, makes us love it, swoon over it then just when we reach a peak point and we've fallen knee deep for the character, she shows us the worst side of it and we're left utterly unraveled.

I hope you find someone you can’t live without. I really do. And I hope you never have to know what it’s like to have to try and live without them.

“It's terrible not to have a friend. I'm so lonely and so alone. I think it's worse on weekends than during the week, but I don't know. It's pretty bad all the time.”

All your perfects: 💍❤️‍🩹👶🏼👨🏽‍🍼
Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

This book lost 2 ☆ because I feel like although the book was good, as all colleen hoover books, it wasn’t as engaging. I felt myself skimming the pages and having to remind myself I actually have to read it. The ending was very good but it took a minute to get it rolling. But all in all, the plot displays a serious representation of marriage and all its flaws, the bad, the ugly & all the perfects.

Verity: 👩🏼‍💼📖📃
Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Verity Verity Verity…. This is BY FAR the best novel I have ever read. The pinch of smut & gallon of thriller kept me at the end of my seat. I seriously could not put this book down. I love reading when there is a character who enjoys writing or reading & Lowen encompasses that. She takes on a book deal that she never thought she’d ever accept with an even surprising man behind it all.

The Silent Patient:🧠👩🏼✍🏼👨🏽‍⚕️🏥
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening her husband Gabriel returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face, and then never speaks another word.

This book was in and of itself an amazing experience! The plot thickens & the twists are very thought out by the author. I enjoyed the physiological aspect of this book, getting to foresee the mind of mental illness, trauma & healing in the hardest of ways. I was kept throughly engaged while reading & its by far one of my 5 ☆ reading for sure.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: 👗👒👩🏼👩🏼‍🦰
Aging and reclusive Hollywood movie icon Evelyn Hugo is finally ready to tell the truth about her glamorous and scandalous life. But when she chooses unknown magazine reporter Monique Grant for the job, no one is more astounded than Monique herself. Why her? Why now?
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ / 5
Ok. This book was a different read for me. I’m usually stuck in purely romance. I felt like I was taken back to 1950-1970’s in a historical moment of a rich & famous movie goer. Evelyn has such a heart grasping personality that leaves you wanting to know more about her. Her life changes so frequently with the ethical and political consequences of life in the 50’s. Be prepared to cryyyy cry cry.

For most of the year they live far apart—she’s in New York City, and he’s in their small hometown—but every summer, for a decade, they have taken one glorious week of vacation together.
