I’m sorry but Azriel getting a bonus chapter, and being the primary Acotar character in the crossover, and being involved in a HOFAS bonus chapter

And SJM talking about how excited she is to explore Azriel’s character.

And signing one of @/courtofmaas’s things “Azriel sends his love.”

And Azriel having the most build up for the next book.

There’s no way Azriel isn’t the main character of the next acotar novel.

A ship dynamic I find interesting is super protective x super reckless.

The reckless one doesn't care about throwing themself into danger, because they just know that their partner will always be there to protect them from anything bad that could happen to them.

Can lead to a situation in which their partner simply can't be there to save them in time or is very late to do it, so they finally realize that they're also hurting their partner by putting themself constantly in dangerous situations.

WAIT imagine gwyn and azriel traveling for a mission or something and they're in the mountains and it's way colder than usual and while they're both bundled up, gwyn still gets a chill. az notices, then unclasps his own cloak and wraps it gently around her shoulders and on top of her own... paralleling their first meeting, and giving gwyn a better memory of his kind gesture to replace the old one with

During Nessian's wedding, Gwyn suddenly feels a bit overwhelmed, so she sits alone away from everyone in order to collect herself. Azriel notices her absence and goes looking for her. He finds her and sits with her. He makes her laugh and relax just like she made him relax that night on Winter Solstice. Gwyn feels something restless settling in her.

Sarah Janet I AM BEGGING YOU please give us a Gwyn and Az moment where they're researching a topic on interdimensional travel or something and they've been looking for an answer to a question for weeks and finally...finally Az thinks he's found something. Gwyn - who at this point is just flustered they can't find what they're looking for - takes the book from his hands, reads it, then squees excitedly as she throws her arms around him yelling "Azriel you genius!" and gives him one of those excited kisses on the cheek that leaves him dumbfounded and winded because:

it was unexpected

she'd said his name for the first time and

it was the best godsdamned feeling he's ever felt

and then that ✨ spark ✨ sparks a little bit brighter 💖💖💖

Sarah posting and the entire comment section is a war zone 😵‍💫 I know each side feels this way but I genuinely do not see how Elain is next. I know she’s going to get a book but we literally haven’t had a significant scene with her in it in two huge books. Azriel getting his own book (with our girl Gwyn!) makes wayyyyy more sense to me as the next ACOTAR book. Both characters featured heavily in the last ACOTAR book and Azriel was one of two main characters that crossed over in CC.

I know Sarah sees that madness in her comments section and I’m praying she puts us out of our misery soon 🙏
