“Mmm definitely it’s really important to put your whole heart into everything that you do,” Aqua was pleased that Terra was starting to open up a bit more. “Other Worlds… and we ended up on this one,” Aqua shook her head. “But I don’t mind, I like this one. I’m thankful to be here.”

“This is the first time that I’ve came here. How about you? To be honest I still have yet to explore this whole school, the campus is huge and I want to see it all!”

“I think I’ve been to most places, but this is my first time here.” Terra explained. “If you want I could…show you around sometime?” Terra offered. She would’ve just offered her map if she still had it. 

Aqua blinked at Terra before a smile swallowed her face.

“You’d show me around? Really? That’d be nice Terra, I look forward to that day.”

"Oh it isn't that much trouble." Terra said. She had been around this whole place a few times now, and she thought she could show someone else around. She looked at the time. It was getting late. "I'm sorry. I have to get back to my dorm soon." Terra said. "It was nice meeting you though."

TTU Fall Festival || Terra

Terra never really was interested in social events, but she always thought she would look back on them one day and be glad she went. She put on a more formal red dress she had brought with her and spent a fairly large amount of time getting ready before she went out for the event. She wasn't really sure what to do with herself. She ended up wandering around for a bit. The crowd was very large, and made Terra feel out of place, when she entered the main courtyard. She ended up moving to the side and observing the different foods. She wasn't really hungry yet, but she didn't really know what else to look at. You can't just stare at people after all. She wondered if she would see anyone she knew, or if someone new would try to talk to her here. The latter seemed more possible near such a crowd.

“Philosophy… I have a philosophy class next semester!” Aqua grinned at her warmly. “Hmm well Graphics Design is really fun, I get to spend a lot of time on my lap top editing things and such so I don’t mind it.”

“You know? With the stars all out tonight, it’s as if all off the stress and problems are what’s dotting the velvet sky. But I’m sure that amongst the worries there’s happiness there too.”

Setting up the telescope Aqua took a peak into it before gesturing for Terra to take a look.

“Isn’t it gorgeous?”

“Oh really? that’s interesting.” Terra said. maybe they would be in classrooms near each other. “That’s good. It’s kind of important to enjoy your major.” 

Terra stared into the telescope. It was much more gorgeous than she thought it would be. “Wow. It’s almost like…other worlds out there.” Terra thought out loud. 

“Do you look at the stars a lot?” Terra asked. She wondered if Aqua had come here a few times before.

Aqua wanted to explore as much of the school grounds as she could and that included the Observatory. It was a nice night for star gazing so she had decided that it was the perfect time to put the school’s telescope to good use.

She wasn’t expecting to see someone at the Observatory so she was surprised to see a young girl about her age walk towards the same building. Jogging to catch up to the girl when she finally made it she was panting slightly.

“Star gazing huh?” She said between breaths as she tried to steady her heart rate.

Terra also wasn’t expecting to see anyone else tonight. She jumped a bit out of shock at hearing another voice. “O-oh um, yes.” She said, still a bit jumpy. She wasn’t sure weather to continue walking or stop and ask who the other was. it was dark and Terra couldn’t see very well. “Who are you? I-if I can ask.” Terra said. Usually, she’d be too shy to ask that without being lead to, but it was scary not to know who was talking to you on a dark night.

“Hey calm down, I’m not going to hurt you. Call me Aqua. I’m a Freshman here and I suppose you are too.”

“I was just stopping by to look at the stars tonight.” Seeing as how the girl still had that frightened look in her eyes, Aqua decided to invite her to come star gaze. “You look like a deer caught in headlights, come on let’s go to the Observatory together since we’re already here.” Aqua chuckled a little. “By the way what’s your name?”

Terra tried to calm herself down a bit. “Well if you would like to…” She responded quietly. “I’m Terra.” She responded. Terra looked down at the ground as they began to walk again. 

“Terra, it’s nice to meet you. You’re pretty shy but please don’t be a stranger.”

“Hey if you’d rather star gaze by yourself I don’t mind. I don’t want it to seem like I’m forcing you to do anything.” Aqua looked at Terra with concern in her eyes.

Terra was trying to open up a bit more now that it seemed like Aqua was a kind person. "Oh no my major is philosophy. I just wanted to see the stars for once." Terra answered. "Graphics design? How are you liking it so far?" Terra asked.

"N-no it's fine. Really." Terra didn't want to seem like she didn't  want friends. She tried to start up a conversation. "So, um, your a freshman too?" Terra asked. she already knew the answer, but she couldn't think of anything else. She decided to try again, but with an actual question. "Does your major have to do with stars?" She asked. As she looked down wondering if it was a good question or if she should just stay quiet.

She didn’t really think she would be here a few hours, but at least she had the time.

Terra reached into her pocket and checked her phone for the time. "I think after we eat I need to get to my next class." She said. They had finally made it to the cafeteria, and were just outside of it. "It seems quite loud in there now." Terra thought out loud. It was to be expected at lunchtime though. 

Relaxing by the pond [OPEN]

“Hmm…I don’t really think anyone has irritated me before. At least not enough I can remember it still.” Terra said. She thought it had probably happened, but it just hadn’t been a big thing.

“Well the cafeteria usually has all sorts of choices. You can get any type of food you want really.” Terra explained. “The cafeteria has seemed to have many visitors every time I’ve been there though so some things may be gone when we get there.” The cafeteria was extremely loud, and it made Terra more than a bit uncomfortable, but she always just tried to sit by herself and eat so she didn’t think about it.
