i personally experienced a progression from yes i like being enclosed -> i feel weird but i have a cat who will flail frantically at the door otherwise -> just comfortable enough to say no cus if someone breaks in while im alone in the house i think itd be really offputting for them. this house is small and linear, any valuables would require them crossing in front of the bathroom door that i would have open
