Ungodly Hour- Chloe x Halle

This is without a shadow of a doubt my  number 1 album of  2020 and my most played in the last 6 months. It’s a modern, classy R&B soundtrack that doesn’t get old.

This is the Bailey sister’s 2nd album and with them being signed to Beyonce’s label their songs Busy Boy & Baby Girl definitely have a Destiny Child’s feel. 

Their beautiful singing style is original, ethereal and evocative with harmonies that many would fail to achieve.

Love the vibe of Forgive me, Do It and Ungodly Hour and their one collab with Swae Lee - Catch Up ft. Mike WiLL Made-It, is infectious.Lonely, Don’t Make It Harder On Me and Wonder What She Thinks Of Me are powerful, melodious  and unforgettable.

I love them all but my favorite and I think their most experimental in terms of style is Royl, a robust haunting, catchy anthem.

For me this has been the best R&B soundtrack for a hot minute and I can’t wait to see where the girls go from here. My guess for the future, would be world domination. Look out for Halle in Disney’s live action of The Little Mermaid.

“Spring Morning”

Spring is my favorite season and I’m sad that we’re more or less stuck inside… so I drew this piece imagining my own fantasy of a perfect springtime! I also tried playing around with a bit of a different style this time. My relationship with drawing has always been muddled with anxieties about performance, and it’s been especially bad this year. So I am resolutely trying to keep drawing “fun” and experiment with new things without worrying about the final product 😊.

First of all , I want to say how much I'm in love with @obsidianpen 's story Blood and Gold, I literally suggested it to everyone I could 😂

This story is something truly unique, the first Tomione story I've read... maybe the last because I can't seem to find anything better and always compare them😬

Thank you for this masterpiece, I really enjoyed every word of it , it's like watching a movie)

Also, it inspired me to draw several scenes from it ) I want to show you one)

P.S. I hope it somehow motivates you @obsidianpen to continue 😂 there was such a cliffhanger,  you're a master of them

where did the southern raiders outfits for zuko and katara come from like yes they’re repurposed from when zuko was the blue spirit but do you think zuko was packing the day before black sun when he came across it and was like ‘in case I need to be emo and dramatic’ and then he packed a second one because like ‘in case I need to be emo and dramatic BUT with a friend’
