Unwind~ Neal Shusterman
*SPOILERS*
Conner~ I love Conner so much. I mean, who doesn't? Because even though he is the Akron AWOL he doesn't want the attention, or the title to live up to. He just did what he needed to do to survive. I also loved the fact that Conner Lassiter cares so much about Lev and Risa. I will never be able to understand why his parents wanted him unwound.
Risa~ Risa is such a good character because, even when Conner took the baby that had been storked she made up with him. Her analytical skills are the one of dreams. The way she knew what Roland had planned to do with Conner. Her piano skills are also the one's of dreams.
Lev~ Now HE is what I call a dynamic character. At first he just went along with being tithed, because he had been brainwashed into thinking it was an honor. Then after he was with Conner and Risa for a while he realized that it wasn't an honor, it just ment he did nothing wrong. Also how he got the title of "The clapper who didn't clap." He is actually one of the best characters in my opinion. I mean, he led the rescue on Happy Jacks.
The whole book overall is so amazing. It's such a unique concept, and a weird way to settle the abortion issue. Neal Shusterman really out did himself with this book.

Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda~
I may or may not be in love with this book. I've read it two or three times and I always notice small, new little things. Becky Abertalli is just an amazing writer. She captured what it's like to be closeted really well, actually. The way she kept who Blue was hidden from us until the end, and THEN DROPS THE BOMBSHELL OF WHO BLUE IS AND YOU JUST WANT TO SCREAM BECUASE YOU SHIP IT SO HARD.

When you go through Simons thought process through this whole blackmail ordeal, you start thinking just how messed up people can be, especially after he is outed to his whole school and see what people do to him just because he is gay. You don't think things like that may happen, but they still do.
