Maybe it's just because we're living in an era of highly elevated Intellectual Property rights management , but it's insane to me that they were allowed to do this, even in the early 80's.

"Ultraman is on vacation so no one's around to stop the monster except our original character" is one thing, but "Ultraman got his shit kicked by our original character and retired in shame" is nuts.

@kianamaiart 's "i don't want to be a magical girl" is so adorable and i love a twist on a magical girl series, so i crossed it over with my own wip, magical dad!

(yes it is a dad in his early 40s who ends up activating the magic staff before his daughter even discovers that's what she had, but she's totally psyched for him, he's a little confused but has the spirit, and the guide creature is not pleased lol)
