Me and my homie @hootispootis have a fun ship together that’s Sprout x Cosmo x Boxten and we made that one poly ship chart with them all in it

(I made sprout and Boxten’s parts and Hootis made Cosmo’s part)

Also made a concept for a friendship bracelet they’d make for Boxten once he joins their polycule. The middle part can “click” over the other charms so it’s one big ol’ flower thing

I don’t have any images for this one, but if anyone wants some Gardenview Labs AU reading material, I wrote a long description on how toon anatomy/creation works. As well as some information about the ichor that makes them

I want to write about twisteds next, but that one may come with more images cause I wanna draw the twisteds lmao

I’ll put it under the cut because it is pretty long

Gideon’s main way of making toons is via mixing random blood samples into ichor and simply watch what comes out of it naturally (usually he also does his best to have this process be isolated so he doesn’t affect what is made with his own emotions). But at some point, Gideon wanted to try and see if he could affect what kind of toon he made by adding other elements to the ichor at the time of creation.

What would be discovered by his new endeavor is that adding either a liquid or some kind of organic material to the ichor along with the blood sample will also affect what kind of toon is made.

Taking Looey for example, who was the first toon Gideon tried his new theory on. Looey was made by adding dyed natural tree rubber to the ichor. Yatta coming next was made with paper confetti. Along with the attempt to make these toons look like circus/party themed, he also tried to see if he could also control the kind of personality they came out with via influencing what environment they where in during the first few weeks of their creation.

His tests weren’t massively successful when it came to Looey, though he was just successful enough to give Gideon hope he could do more given the right conditions.

Thus, the new “control” group of toon was born (aka the holiday toons). A group of toons that live in a very highly controlled environment away from all the normal toons. Neither of normal or control toons know of each other’s existence.

Note: because ichor can react with natural materials, it’s usually a good idea to not get ichor on your skin, as it can eat away at it.

Once a toon has been made, they are fully self dependent. Because of the use of blood samples from other adults, toons are born mostly as adults. Their bodies can self regulate without outside assistance but do need the basic necessities that humans do. Things like food, water, sleep, etc. Their bodies also can naturally reproduce losing ichor/blood from losing it via a cut much like a human can.

Toons are very resilient. Even when faced with their death, simply pumping their bodies back up with more ichor can bring them back to life. They physically age very slowly, so it would take them quite some time before the ichor in their bodies overtakes the blood mixed and causes them to mentally “die”. This makes toons nearly immortal by human standards, though they have one glaring weakness. Electricity may of made them, but it can also take them out for good. Too much electricity administered into a toon’s body will prevent the ichor from being able to function properly. They toon will fall into a goopy mess and no amount of ichor added into them will bring them back. This also makes the ichor that is left over basically useless. Since it’s so overcharged it loses all its ability to react with anything.

That’s the “basic” rundown of how toons work in this AU. Yay ✨
