this wonderful 88-page piece has step by step breakdowns of how names work in different cultures! i needed to know how to name a Muslim character it has already helped me SO MUCH and i’ve known about it for all of 15 minutes!! i am thoroughly amazed and i just needed to share with you guys

This is a really cool article, it gives a lil bit of insight into some BTS stuff, like how Dragons Rising is meant to have a bit more of a painterly style (hence all the slightly lighter and darker shade patches on models) and how sometimes they may be more interested in a character (like Wyldfyre) based on rough designs alone. Wyldfyre was originally a show-only character, but she became like a writer and design team favorite at some point which is cool as FUCK imo.
