🐝When he's not being a spawn of Unicron, he's napping or playing with his toys. Or playing lob with Bulkhead.

🐝He and Raf play some simplified games made for Bumblebee. Somehow, Bumblebee always wins! Crazy! Insane!

🐝No! He's not eating that! It looks icky!

🐝He doesn't like being baby talked at unless its Bulkhead... for some reason.

🐝He follows Arcee around like a lost dog, doesn't matter what shes doing.

🐝He's the reason the littles are banned from going outside the base.

🐝He likes climbing up Optimus, but if Optimus even tries to hold him... there will be hell to pay.

🐈‍⬛️He follows the rule "If I fits, I sits" to a scary degree.

🐈‍⬛️He can in fact, purr. Thats not a regressor thing, thats a Soundwave thing... a transformer thing in general, but still!

🐈‍⬛️Very playful kitten.

🐈‍⬛️Face jump scare. He hates his mask and visor when he's regressed. Unfortunately for everyone... he's adorable and saying no is basically impossible.

🐈‍⬛️Who can say no to them big ol' optics? No one. Maybe Shockwave, but that's not the point!

🐈‍⬛️He somehow always manages to find his way to the farm whenever he's little. No one knows how, least of all Soundwave, but Megatron's stuck under him and uh... he's not moving.

🐈‍⬛️He and Fluffy Ears are besties and Soundwave lets Fluffy lick his face.

🐈‍⬛️He gets along with PupStar well enough, he doesn't exactly like being chewed on, but they have been seen playing together out in the pastures' tall grass.

🐈‍⬛️Kitty zoomies. Can and will bite. No one is safe.

🐈‍⬛️Unfortunately, PupStar bites back and this leads to a huge fight, which has more hissing and growling than actual fighting.

🐈‍⬛️Yes, he fell asleep atop the barn, no he's not coming down! He's stuck! Help!

��Breakdown little space headcannons���

🧡He doesn't like being little, I mean... he enjoys it, but he hates being alone, hates being babysat, and is always scared the other Stunticons are going to find out and it's gonna hurt an-

💙His age range is 1-3

🧡He hates toys with two legs and eyes, "they watchin me! I don- I-" it makes him very upset, but stuffed animals are ok.

💙He wants so desperately to be taken care of, to make all the bad thoughts go away and the scary mechs to stop looking at him.

🧡He wants his brothers- no- nononono! Why would you get his brothers!? Why!? It's gonna- they-

💙Sometimes he purges from how stressed he makes himself when little.

🧡He has a security blanket and takes it everywhere when he's little and a pacifier.

💙He's constantly sick when little, his body tired and thinking hurts. He just wants to go to sleep! Let him go to sleep.

🧡Once his brothers find out, they bully him relentlessly, pinching and pulling until Breakdown's sobbing and trying to pull away from them, unable to breathe. No! Don't take his blanket! Stop it! It's gonna tear! For someone who's trying not to draw attention to himself, you sure can hear his cries from down the hall as fabric rips in half.

💙He stops regressing in his hab where his brothers can find him and wanders around the lonelier parts of their base. Imagine his surprise when he meets a bright red speedster medic in training filing medical supplies in storage.

🧡he's not berated because of his blanket (technically two now) that he drags around everywhere and the mech doesn't pinch, pull, or kick him... He just... asks him if he's ok and if he needs help.

💙He starts seeking out the mech when he's little, they don't share names, Breakdown's much too embarrassed to do so, and the smaller mech doesn't seem to mind.

🧡He likes sensory toys and will play with them for hours

💙He likes the red mech. He fixed his blanket and plays quiet games with him and only snuggles when Breakdown wants to snuggle and all sortsa stuff!

🧡 He REALLY likes the color red...

💙He... he's allowed to cry? He won't get in trouble?

🧡Bed nest! Its soft and comfy and the red mech is the best snuggle partner in the whole wide world!

💙His sparkbond with his brothers goes untouched, the angry feelings and warnings are left with no answers as he draws with Red, a cartoon playing in the background.

I love the small romantic subplot between Starscream and Steve, they're so cute.

Although Steve's crush is one sided, I thought they would be a cute duo. + it's important to the plot later. (•`w'•)

just thinking about soundwave regressed "on the down low" paci under his mask, holding lazerbeak everywhere he goes, he thinks hes so sly and CLEARLY a grown up, why are you kicking him out of the bridge it doesnt matter that hes sleepy hes WORKING. (hes been doing those digital color by numbers). i feel like he never actually tells anyone they all just see the baby wandering the nemesis (looking for uppies?) and take matters(the baby)into their own hands

Little Soundwave thinks he's sneaky, and he is for the most part. But sometimes he's sloppy at hiding it. Soundwave is one of those people who does very little to blend into the back round, it's second nature to him, but when he does something considered unusual for him, EVERYONE notices. Because of this, Lazerbeak has to help him hide it sometimes.

i feel like soundwave and starscream would have have similar age ranges but always fall on opposite sides either way. 1 sleepy baby who must be held and 1 toddler/kiddo who just cant understand why baby doesnt want to play. also just imagine the chaos of those two toddlers running around

Poor Starscream just wants to sleep, he's got Dreadwing carrying him around like a sack of potatoes and trying to feed him so much he purges, and Soundwave chasing him down the hall...

Poor guy.

Soundwave knows perfectly well what he's doing and Star is not into it at all.

Soundwaves that one kid at the playground who tags you when you're not even playing tag and keeps tagging you until you relent.

The number of times Starscream has run out of the playroom sobbing and trying to find someone to pick him up because Soundwave kept biting him and trying to get him to play is absolutely insane.

When Megatron lets the two of them into the throne room it's absolute chaos. Starscream's trying to scale the warlord as Soundwave yanks at his pedes to get him to come back down and both of them are screaming for entirely different reasons.

They get kicked out of the throne room quickly after that.

Between Dreadwing and Soundwave, Starscream isn't getting his naps in at all.

Starscream gnaws on a large fake taco and pauses to look at you. He huffs and crawls away to another spot where you can't see him that well and resumes gnawing on the toy.

🌠STARSCREAM PET SPACE HEADCANNONS🌠

🌠He doesn't acknowledge his little space, just hides away until its done.

🌠He's a puppy regressor!

🌠The girls know about it, and Starscream knows they know. There's a lot of knowing and not a lot of doing because no one knows what to do about it, least of all Starscream. They just kinda... sit there after he's in his normal headspace and stare at each other.

🌠He chews on just about everything, its pretty common for Nova or Skywarp to have to jam their servos in his mouth to claw out whatever chokeable he's attempting to swallow.

🌠Hates being alone, hates it- hates it- hates it- HATES IT-

🌠When he's feeling brave enough, he presses against one of the girls and hides behind their leg. Again, they don't talk about it because... what are they supposed to say?

🌠Everyone's confused and no one's having a good time.

🌠The first time Starscream slipped the girls were utterly confused. The three were tired, barely hanging on from an extensive shift (pre-Megatron defection), and... it kinda just happened. The girls were freaked out obviously because Starscream was just... sitting there and gnawing on a datapad and whining for attention. Ok... the attention thing wasn't that abnormal, just the way he was going about it. Crawling around, pressing against their legs, doorwings low as he didn't know how to hold them up comfortably, much like a sparkling would... but, sparklings didn't act like how Starscream was. Sparklings don't sleep at the foot of your berth while you sleep or lick your servos when you give them their energon...

🌠It's normal to see him crawling around now with a band around his wrist that monitors his waste tank level and a mess of cloth wrapped around his legs and waist as he crawls around on the floor. It's uncomfortable for everyone involved and they refuse to talk about it. They refuse to talk about how they changed the cloth for a new one each time its dirtied and Starscream can't look them in the optics when he's out of headspace and he can feel the literal weight of his own fluids between his legs that translate to shame. He cleans the cloth quietly in another room, tears burning his optics.

🌠He's shy, but once he's brave enough to play, there's no stopping him. From tug of war to chasing after something in the forest or lightly wrestling with one of the girls, his energy lasts for hours.

🌠He regressed when they were with GHOST too... he... doesn't like to talk about it and no one tries to get him to tell. Not all of his nightmares are about Megatron...

🌠Sometimes, Soundwave watches him when the girls are busy. It's usually Starscream hiding under a desk or a berth as Soundwave sits close by. The babysitting always ends with Starscream sprawled out on both the floor and Soundwave's lap.

🌠Pretty sure he thinks the children are his puppies and that Soundwave is HIS mama.

🌠He has no proof and snaps at you when anyone tries to explain why he needs to get off of Twitch so she can go do her chores. Twitch isn't complaini- is he licking her? GET HIM OFF! RIGHT NOW!

🌠He only listens to Soundwave and Hashtag, everyone else is out of luck if they need him to let go of something and those two are out.

🌠The Terrans spoil the crap out of him and keep getting him giant chew toys once they find out. It overwhelms Starscream a lot and he never knows whether or not he should thank them or run away to never be seen again.

How did Megatron convince Roddy to accept having little gear?

He didn't.

Well... he did. ... Kinda.

Let me explain.

As I've said before Ultra Magnus watches Rodimus the most when he's little. He doesn't get to pick Rodimus up or let him stay in his lap as he works because the moment Rodimus is out of headspace hes upset with him.

With everyone.

When Megatron watches him, he reads out loud, saying that it's just to help him concentrate, but every time he does read it's about a silly story that has Rodimus peeking out from under Megatron's berth, optics big and wide.

And they've found a loophole with Rodimus none the wiser.

Although, it is odd that now EVERYONE reads out loud to concentrate when Rodimus is small.

This goes on for a little while, but it's not perfect because Rodimus doesn't always want to hear someone read about a silly story.

When he's hungry, Megatron leaves normal cubes out for Rodimus to take, only for Rodimus to spill all himself, giving Megatron an excuse to give Rodimus a bath and little Roddy LOVES the baths.

It makes his frame feel better when he's just sitting in the fluid, soaking as Megatron cleans him gently. Eventually, a toy pops up in the bath and- and- Megatron has never seen Roddy that happy in little space. Its hard getting him clean because he's busy playing with his new boat and fish.

Pretty soon, the cubes turn into cups and the cups turn into sippy cups and those turn into bottles. Megatron makes the excuse that he simply forgot to put his own little gear away when Rodimus corners him in some random hallway, hissing and spitting about how he didn't want to be treated like an actual baby.

So Megatron stops and Rodimus quickly realizes just how much help he had been getting while little. No one helps him open any doors to where he needs to go, and they stop grabbing cubes for him. They don't even acknowledge him in the hallway in the cooing happy voices that made him giggle before going on his way. They treat him like he's big, they give him big punishments when he breaks a rule when little and its scary being put into his office with datapads to fill out. He wants it, he's not sleeping he's not eating right and he just- he wants so badly to be given the bare minimum again.

No one comes when he has a bad dream, but he can hear Drift linger outside the door. He can hear him- why isn't he coming in to help?! He can't open the door by himself- please- please-

The footsteps go away and Rodimus is left wailing beside his door. The next morning when an exhausted big Rodimus finds a container of sweets and- ugh a pacifier, its quickly shoved away into the bottom of his desk.

One night after a particularly bad nightmare, Roddy finds his door open a little and he eagerly leaves it, running down to the first other hab he spots, and bangs on the door, pleading and begging to be let in- he's sorry- please- please-

To his utter surprise, the door opens and he's quickly swept up and pressed against a big grey chest, something rubbery and sweet making its way into his mouth with soft promises and gentle back rubs under his spoiler.

It's the best night of sleep he's gotten in a while and he stays regressed for a long time and everyone's his friend again! He doesn't get big punishments like Big Rodimus would for breaking a rule, but a gentle scolding and a pacifier that tastes like melted rust sticks when he sucks on it. He gets to sleep with Ultra Magnus and he gets a bunch of toys to play with and snuggles when his body hurts.

Rodimus refuses to talk to anyone once he gets big a few days later.

It's hard, he liked the feeling, all the attention and love. The games and sweets...

He finds himself, not regressed, but wanting to be, at Megatron's door, a servo hesitating to knock. The door opens anyway, startling the young Prime.

It's a struggle explaining that he wants to be small of his own accord because he feels good when he's small and sleeps good when he's with someone.

Megatron helps him, almost eagerly and Rodimus has to bite his tongue to keep himself from saying horrible things about the toys and play mat his CoCaptain is pulling out.

If anyone were to look in Megatron's room a few hours later, they'd find a passed-out Rodimus nestled in Megatron's arms, pacifier bobbing slowly as Megatron leaned back against his berth, mouth open in a loud snore.

In short, you let Rodimus struggle by himself for a bit before he comes to his own senses.

Poor Roddy (T^T)

Just thinking about Rodi being exhausted and hurt but still refusing to let himself relax just simply because he *isnt good enough*. He doesn't deserve it. He isnt a good captain. He isnt a good person. He deserves all this pain mental and physical.

But little him wants so desperately to curl into someone and just....sob. just have a paci in his mouth and relax. Big him is so mean. He spots other littles and gets jealous. He wants a stuffie too. But he doesn't let himself have one. He's not trying to be difficult. Hes not trying to be bad. He just....he....

He wants ultra magnus or megatron to pick him up again. He doesn't want Drift to see him like this. He doesn't want anyone to see him like this. But he wants to be held. He just wants to be okay. He just wants to be safe. Why wont Big Rodimus let him be safe. He just wants- he wants

But he wont. Hes not good enough.

Mhm, you get the gist.

It's such a struggle to get Rodimus to relax when little, to get him to do anything but sob and beg, he begs so hard for a toy, for a pacifier and Ultra Magnus doesn't give him anything because Rodimus told him not to.

Rodimus is in absolute tears because his body hurts and Ratchet's medicine tastes icky and it never works and he just wants to be held- why does everyone else get to be held and given toys and snacks!? Its not fair! He wants that! He wants it!

He has to be kept away from the other littles, because he bullies them aggressively and steals their toys from them. Anything to pushing, pulling, kicking and, Primus forbid, biting.

He's tired and he's hurting and he's scared and everything feels way too big- he can't sleep without a pacifier and he regresses for very long periods but if he takes a pacifier it means he's not gonna get Ultra Magnus again when little.

He gets nightmares and throws screaming fits, big hot tears falling down his face as the matrix burns and he doesn't feel right-

He wants his old body- he wants to go fishing and- and-

He's so tired.

Oughhhh I love the idea of Starscream getting tired from working and regressing bc poor baby bird desperately needs a nap 💔

He definitely doesn't sleep as much as he needs to. The poor bird would definitely benefit from taking naps. He's usually good at hiding his exhaustion, but its when he's on the verge of collapsing is when he starts to slip. I like to think he starts getting whiny and emotional and everyone know at that point he's small. He refuses to sleep alone like this and either needs Knockout, Breakdown, or Soundwave to be with him.

I think in a way, Optimus regressed at the beginning of season 2 when he mentally became Orion again. I know it was mostly a memory loss thing, but I'll take what I can get.

Absolutely valid. That totally counts in my opinion. Technically, in RID Bumblebee regresses, too! Sure, it was chemically induced, but in both cases both of them reverted to a mentally younger state. So I say it counts. 😌

Kitty soundwave nibbling on treats as starscream doodles on a data pad. Its late and so Knockout comes over to get the littke ones ready for bed. Soundwave is at the foot of the bed curled up with lazerbeak on his head, star is in-between the couple and everyone is snuggled uo and settled. Everything is okay for a little bit until star starts whimpering and shifting around. It makes Sounders hiss at the door and sit protectively infront of the bed until star settles again. This gets the little kitten a thank you, shy and teary, from star before they are back to being asleep.

I have been meaning draw something for this for a while because it's so cute! I haven't finished it yet, but I wanted to let you know that I saw this and loved it!
