I dont know if it has been discussed because hi, I'm new to tumblr. But I think Taylor purposely went heavy country in the song Betty because she was country when she was 17. Since it's a story about love and teenagers and clearly says I'm only 17 I feel like it's intentional that she musically went country on this track since she was country at that point in her life/career. Anyone else have this thought or has it been discussed?
