Six (6) C-Band 9 meter Nigcomsat transponder Facility. This Transponders have the capacity of of generating $10-20 million dollars on a monthly basis for the federal government if properly put to use . But have recently been handed over to a Chinese consortium to managed the transponder and to provide the technical support as well . But the Nigerian government are not looking at the resources they have at hand . Rather they are focusing on generating tax via a privately own telecommunication company. (at NIGCOMSAT)
