  Today of all days had to be when Clint decided to stop by here. Here in his laboratory. It wasn't that Bruce despised the man's presence, he just felt incapable of putting up with what he had dished out -- and that was the threat of putting his things at a disarray, even much more of a mess than it was before his visit. And distract him. The threat barely fazed him, "I wouldn't mistake you being crazy enough to try." A holographic data table spread out before him, fingers grazing along it to navigate through the information. "Then again, you've proven me wrong before.."

  Perhaps when he made that deal with S.H.I.E.L.D. he should have included this being a restricted area for most people willing to visit. It was only now he came to the realization of his complication during working hours.

  His silent piqued interest came at that mentioning of a CDI factor. What had he meant by that? The fleeting thought came to his acknowledgement that it was another kind of joke the fretless personality of Clint's was able to easily create. He lowered his head from peering at the table, eyes shutting and he pinched the bridge of his nose. Was he seriously going to carry on with this non-accomplishing feat? "'Chicks Dig I' --? No, I'm not. Besides, I rather not be involved with you or any other 'birds'." 

"You see, unlike you, Barton, I prefer not taking any breaks and avoid working."

“Yeesh, Freckles. You talk too much, ya know that?”

“Keep it up an’ I’ll loose a putty arrow in that muzzle a’ yours.” Joking, of course. That was a trick saved for Captain Britain, not Jade Jaws.

In actuality, Clint wasn’t running some clandestine gig, and he certainly wasn’t hiding from anything. It never would’ve been admitted if he was. Bruce and he had yet to get off on the right foot, and if asked, Clint would probably reply that he preferred the physicist’s taller, greener, more angry half. After all, he’d spent more time with Jade Jaws than he had Bruce Banner.

The real reason he was here was solely based off the reason that Jessica, Steve, Tony—or anyone else Clint didn’t want to see—weren’t here.

“’Sides, Banner. Me just bein’ here ups your CDI factor by, like, a gajillion. CDI factor, know what that is, genius? S’your chicks dig it factor. You’re probably unfamiliar.”

  Yes -- Kryptonite? I'm aware of the element Krypton.. Why do you ask?

[ Surely with the vigilante acknowledging the scientist's background and query of Kryptonite would lead to a request regarding his abilities. Although, Kryptonite was an object he had heard of -- he seldom had the chance to actually retrieve it or observe a sample. ]

I heard you do radiation work. Ever heard of Kryptonite?

[ Vaguely, at least. He doesn’t remember who told him that but he doesn’t need to, any way. He’s here to find out more about the effects then head right back into the field to save Rose. ]

  "Sorry," his voice held false sincerity and maintained its monotonous state (presumably because he was preoccupied), "I've got important things to focus on," much more important than explaining this to a young individual that he'd prefer not intrude with his work. "I wouldn't have figured you'd be allowed here -- and do not touch anything."

Peculiar names he had yet to hear until now. It was almost amusing, really. "Your 'end of town'? Meaning.. where exactly?" He asked once again. It wasn't the fact that his own life would be at risk if a notorious figure here threatened Bruce's life, oh no, he feared for theirs. And this Catwoman person left him questionable of her authority and position here. 

Selina hunched her shoulders, like a bashful schoolgirl. “I’m the Catwoman. And this is my end of town, cutie." She winked at him. “You sound like you’re lost. Where you meant to be goin’?"

ben looks more like a softie to me, and mark's p much everywhere. and i'm not so sure about ed but i've been told he's kinda better than the first and third one???
