I’ve been thinking about dragons a lot today and a question came to me. How good can dragons swim?
I’ve been creating little stories in my head if dragons happily swimming while using their large wings to quickly propel themselves through the water. I think the speed the dragon can swim depends on the design of their tail. If they have no sail or just a tail with nothing on it, they turn slower but if they have tail fins/back spines, they might be able to turn faster or smoother. I also imagine a dragon being able to trap air under their wings to keep them afloat depending on the shape of their wings.
Would trying to use wings to swim slow them down?
Just imagine being a sailor looking for a good spot to fish only to find a dragon just floating there with no care in the world.

I got a weird horror idea and I don’t know if it’s good or not.
So basically sentient carnivorous building/house
So there is this sentient building with its walls made from cartilage with flesh, bones, and nerves within the walls. It can be found in large cities or small towns acting as an abandoned building that looks tempting to explore and remains unmoving. Its abandoned appearance is used to lure humans like urban explorers or content creators. When the explorer wanders in, the building lets them explore a little bit until they get to a hallway the ship or a large L. From where you first enter, there are 2 doors on the left and when you turn the corner of the L, there are 2 doors on the right and at the very end of the L shaped hallway, there is a door that looks like an exit. The explorer will look through the rooms connected to each door except the last one which will appear locked. When they turn back to the door they came through, it’s also locked. (Here's where things make less sense) the room will begin to fill with a type of toxic gas that slowly kills the explorer’s body. Then once the explorer eventually dies, enzymes will start to leak out of the floor to dissolve the new meal of the sentient building. One human can keep it satisfied for at least 2 months.
It's a dumb idea but I like the thought of doing something completely normal like exploring an abandoned building only for it to be a giant monster.
I don't even know if this even makes sense.
