“Depends on how much interest I have,” Scout said. “If I have enough people wanting in, I may have to hold auditions first. What do you play?”

“Right, that’s what I meant, auditions,” Tigger shook his head with a sigh. “Scatterbrained, sorry about that. I play guitar, ukulele, and piano. I also do a bit of vocals as well.”

Scout took a step back to admire his work, the last poster he had to hang, hopefully the one that would entice someone, anyone, to play in his band. He’d fired his old band a month or so earlier, and was ready for a fresh start. He began to walk away as someone approached, but paused to see if they’d take interest.

Tigger looked over the poster for a few moments, furrowing his brow. It seemed plausible, after all. He could sing, he could play, he figured it was time to just give it a shot. Not worry about anything and then, he finally spoke, “Are there rehearsals coming up for this?”

As soon as the sun had set, Jack had found himself wandering through downtown, eyes continuing to dart from the path in front of him to the moon above him and back again. After about ten minutes of walking, he stopped at the park and sat down on a bench, trying to quell the memories of the frozen lake and the beginning of his powers. He looked back up at the moon, the shadows forming a face, just as it did whenever he looked up at it. “Still quiet, huh?” When he heard footsteps, he hung his head and tried to get his breathing back under control.

Tigger had been walking down the path, admiring the bright light of the moon for a few moments as he mindlessly strummed his guitar along the way, trying to think of a tune. He had stopped and started a few moments, but figured it’d be best if he sat on the bench had played. Of course, someone found their own spot and he figured they had been tired so he decided to swing his guitar over and tilted his head at the question. “I’m sorry, I’m...not sure what you mean by that.”

“Colds are the worst, man.” Mike would admit that he was a baby when he got sick. “Good news? Uh, I don’t think so. I mean, I got a raise at work?”

“They are, but hopefully I’ll be getting better. I don’t stay sick for long, luckily,” Tigger reassured the male with a grin. “That’s great! Raises at work are always the best, let’s be real.”

“So a lot my aunt told me to watch Ru Paul’s and now I’m addicted and confused.” Jack confessed. “I feel like it’s not my… thing, really, but I’m still obsessed with it? I don’t know…” He said with a giggle. “They’re all so creative!”

Tigger raised his eyebrows in intrigue and nodded with a grin. “I don’t think there’s any shame in watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. After all it’s influenced culture with slang and whatnot,” He pointed out with a grin. “Who’s your favorite future queen?”

“Yeah–yeah, I think it is.” She thought for a moment before tilting her head, looking back out the window. “Or it will be. I don’t know, something just feels off, you know? Maybe it’s just a me thing.”

He furrowed his brow and shook his head, carefully placing a hand on Perrie’s shoulder, “It’s not just you.” He nodded his head over to a nearby table, close enough to look out the window. “Come on, sit and chat with me. Maybe I can help clear some of those worries.”

Coco was walking through the library, handing out cookies, glad that she’d made more than enough during the holidays. Spotting someone familiar, she walked up to them and held the container out to them. “Cookie? It looks like we’re gonna be here a while and I need an excuse not to eat all of these myself.”

“Ooh, thank you,” Tigger smiled excitedly and took a cookie. “I completely understand. I wish I had made some cupcakes or some hot cocoa while we waited out the storm, but c’est la vie.” He sighed and took a bite of the cookie. “Miss Coco, if I may ask, what’s this cookie made out of ‘cos this...is one of the best tasting ones I’ve ever had.”

She didn’t wasn’t sure why, but she could sit still. In all honesty, the weather didn’t hurt her, but she didn’t want to worry her friends and family, so she stayed. With her arms crossed over her chest, Perrie stood in front of a window, just watching the snow. She was so lost in thought that she hadn’t realized anyone was near her until they spoke. “Sorry?”

“Is everything alright?” Tigger asked again looking at Perrie with a worried look. He noticed that she had dazed off into the distance, watching her eyes focus on the snow outside intently. There was something that had to have been brewing on her mind.

Angel jogged into the library, shaking snow from her hair as she did. It took her a moment to get her scarf unwrapped from around her neck, letting out an exasperated sigh when she finally did. “God I think I need to get a better jacket–I ain’t prepared for this kind of weather.” She kicked her boots against the wall to get the snow off when she saw someone nearby. “I thought this kinda weather didn’t happen here?”

Tigger nodded in agreement. “At least you have something that could warm you up a bit, right?” He asked with a curious look. “I don’t think any of us, even those of us who are well-adjusted to the snow, were prepared and I can’t even imagine how ill everyone will get the moment the temperature readjusts itself.”

Perrie wandered through the quad, trying to spot the familiar fluff of hair. As soon as she spotted Tigger sitting on the grass, she walked toward him and knelt down. She draped her arms over his shoulders, leaning against his back with her cheek pressed against his. “I know I haven’t said it yet, but thank you…” She kept her voice close to a whisper, as if the conversation was their little secret. After taking a deep breath, she spoke at a normal volume. “Oh, and I have a gift for you!”

Tiggs had been looking up, watching the sky grow darker by the moment. It appeared to be a big storm was underway, but he didn’t mind it one bit. Suddenly, he felt a familiar warmth and he smiled feeling Perrie’s cheek against his. “I should be thanking you as well,” He, too, whispered to the blonde next to him with a grin. He enjoyed their closeness. “Oh? You do?! Let’s see it!”

“You lost your voice? How?!” Mike shrugged. “I’m good. Aside from the voice thing…you okay, man?”

“I caught a bit of a cold, but I’m on the road to recovery,” Tiggs whispered before taking a sip of his tea. “I’m glad you’re alright! Any good news you’d like to share?” He grinned and then nodded at Mike’s question. “I’ll be alright in no time.”

“It was a joke Tigs.” Tam smirked. “What, that’s all I get? ‘Okay’? I’m gonna need more than that! What did you eat for breakfast? Did you shower? What’s the first thought that crossed your mind when you woke up this morning?” They teased, imitating his voice.

Tiggs looked over at Tam for a moment until he smirked, trying to hold back a laugh at their imitation of him. “I had waffles and a banana for breakfast, I shower every morning and, I thought to myself: ‘Today I’m going to have a lovely and rousing conversation with Tam.’”

Caroline shook her head. “You need lemon tea, with some honey to really sooth up the vocal chords!” She stated before giving him a smile. “Yep, I’m as peachy as a peach on a peach day in … Flordia.” She giggled scrunching her nose. “Wait, no that’s oranges, but you know what I mean. You need tea though.” 

“Lemon tea with honey, I’ll keep that in mind! Thank you, Caroline!” He piped up before clearing his throat for the fifth time. “That’s good, I’m very glad you’re peachy as a peach, nonetheless. Oranges are good too. I do need tea, ‘cos this is quite rough. Would you mind accompanying me to the cafeteria to find some?”

“That’s great news!!” Maria commented excitedly. The girl couldn’t help but stare at him as she thought about the question, she actually hadn’t thought about it or talked about it with Manolo. “Hmm… That is a good question I don’t know the answer to. I just know I wanna spend them with him.” She grinned excitedly. “Actually, I do. Would you mind?”

“At least, that’s what the doctor said as long as I kept taking the antibiotics, so that’s the goal,” Tigger grinned proudly. He furrowed his brow at Maria’s stare for a moment, unsure if what he had said might’ve offended her in any kind of way until her response. “Ahhh, that makes more sense! Hmm, maybe you could see if you want to do any holiday activities, sneak him away from the family mayhem, perhaps?” He suggested with a grin. “Not at all! I’m happy to help!”

“You’re welcome then. I really hope I do not regret introducing them to the word.” That latter part of her statement was a joke, one that she laughed at before her friend could. “I agree that I should, and I will try my best to find the time. Maybe on my next day off. For now, I will focus on working so I can pay for my bills and for my food.”

“You just might the first week, but I think they’ll learn to enjoy it,” He chuckled along with Kathy, shaking his head at her joke. “I completely understand the struggle, Kathy. Definitely on your next day off. Treat yourself to a walk in the park or just lounging around at home. Do something you’d like to do, you know?”

“Oh stop, you’re making me blush.” They responded sarcastically. “You’re right though, I am pretty badass. How was your day; I feel obligated to ask.”

Tigger raised an eyebrow at Tam’s sarcasm, but shrugged it off. “Hmmm, it was okay. You don’t need to be obliged to do anything you don’t want to do,” he responded with a genuine grin.

“Drink some whiskey, that’ll fire you back up.” They joked in response. “Jesus, what do you want from me? I woke up this morning, spilled coffee, went to work, flirted with a completely oblivious girl, then left. Overall, it was a good day but not great; I didn’t punch anyone and I didn’t get a speeding ticket.”

“’m not too fond of whiskey, if I’m being honest...” Tigger smiled sheepishly at Tam. “Seee! That’s a good day,” He beamed with excitement for them. “Besides,  bein’ the kick arse charming charmer that you are, you’re bound to survive the day, after all.”
