Thoughts n' Things | #2

Here's something that's been on my mind for a little bit tonight: what do y'all do to sate your boredom? I feel like it gets me restless sometimes, and that's usually not helped when I also find it surprisingly difficult to find anything to do at all.

Tomorrow's another day though, so in that case, I won't mind if I end up not making much out of the night. In addition though, to make things a bit interesting: tonight's music pick is Hozier's "Too Sweet"! I'd seen him live a few weeks or so back, and it was genuinely unreal- pun mostly intended.

Thoughts n' Things | #1

Hi again! Thought I'd try something a bit new with this one: ideally a sort of semi-regular series of posts just documenting whatever's on my mind; whatever I find worth talking about.

To start, I had dinner not that long ago! It was some special burger ordered out from a place sort of local to me, with really nothing else but ketchup, mustard and relish to top it. It was... a little more lackluster than however I was picturing it, for some reason. Truth be told, I didn't mind it, and a good burger is a good burger to me anyway.

I guess the lesson here is to always appreciate the smaller things if they make you happy! What makes you happy is important like little else. (... Even if it did run me a little over $10 for a burger fairly less interesting than I was expecting. ^^)

Hi all! I hope all reading this have had a good day, afternoon or evening so far; or if not, you have my assurance that things will get better soon! ^^

I figured I'd use my time of break from coloring manga panels to introduce a recent sona of mine, Nil. Probably being of a more reserved type than I am, I imagine they don't talk a lot, but there's nothing wrong with being thoughtful. As well, I just think the combination of sorta scruffy clothes and punk features makes them look cozy. They're very soft!

Second go around with the whole page coloring thing, and I'm really proud of this one. There's probably fair room for improvement with how I tackle my color grading, but all in all, I think I was able to find a nice enough balance to finish. Hope you guys like this one. ^^

Lastly, I thought I'd add the obvious but still worth mentioning: none of this art belongs to me, I'm just the dude who's decided to color it in for fun. This illustration, as well as the one in my last post, are all made by the incredibly talented Kōhei Horikoshi and his equally as talented team of editors/assistants who deserve just as much credit!

"MY HERO" | My Hero Academia

Hi all, kind of new to the whole Tumblr thing, but I figured I'd start simple. Been a fan of MHA for awhile now, mostly only through the anime, but I figured I'd take a crack at coloring some manga panels for the first time to try out something new. Fairly proud of how this turned out.

I can't say I'm certain as to what else I plan on posting on this little page of mine, but for whatever it's worth, my future posts will probably have a lot more variety than just colored manga pages. Had fun with this one though, so more like this might come sooner than later anyway. Hope you'll stick around. ^^
