Germanic lagnuages: lowkey furious but also really happy and skipping-through-fields joyful in summer

Romance languages: Passion. Love. Misery. Fado. Will most likely cry when a plant dies.

Finno-ugric: Depressed and lonely and weirdly obsessed with ryebread.

Hellenic: OUZOOOOOOO. Permanently turnt. Doesn't enjoy being told what to do.

Celtic: probably on drugs. Feels lightheaded and airy most of the time.

Slavic: highkey angry. Proud of their miniscule differences.

Baltic: sucks thumb a lot. Doesn't know what's going on most of the time. Enjoys bright-coloured clothing.

That hasn't got much to do with the actual system however, but rather the individual behaviour and attitudes of the staff which could quite easily happen within a private company - Bupa care in the UK is a prime example of this.

Like all other peddlers of social ideology, our education system is designed to keep the gears of the economy turning -- seeing as the economy is controlled by the capitalist elite, the social institutions (education, politics, etc.) are inherently subordinated to those elite interests. Much of the working class understands this on some level, it's just that an isolating culture and propagandized media drain their potential and influence.

I love how every time the topic of gun control comes up Americans on Twitter are always like “you Europeans have no business commenting on our constitutional rights!!111″ but at the same time they are entitled to comment on European political issues. 

Take Brexit for example. I literally have someone on my timeline that posted a tweet saying “Gotta love foreigners who think they have the right of commenting on my constitutional right to bear arms. Stop trying to shove your political agendas down our throats.” but at the same time he goes “Yes! Good the British took their country back!!!!!!” 

And I’m like “???”, do you see the hypocrisy/irony in that? (Also, it was never not their country but that’s a whole other discussion.)

The Turkish government ARE terrorists. I love the way you made me try to appear like some sort of bigot, nice try but here's a fun fact; my wife is a turkish cypriot.

Even she knows that the Turkish government is an authoritarian piece of shit and the majority of turks who support it are scumbags. It has connections to IS, abuses Human rights, flat out denies the Armenian genocide, has killed thousands of greeks, kurds and asyrians, has serious infringements on freedom, repressing the rights of gays and other crimes against humanity.

Yet despite all this Tumblr still decides to show the flag of such a country - that's the issue here. Yes it's sad people died, but it's even sadder to see people don't realise turkey is part of the problem. You've made a blind assumption here - I don't support terrorism at all, no one here does - and that is especially why we speak out against the terrorist state of turkey.

Ofc I recognise it, but where was the flag of Cyprus last saturday to mark the 42nd year of illegal Turkish occupation of cyprus? Tumblr tries to paint islamic countries as some sort of paradise - despite them having the worst human rights violations to this day - as a socialist i simply despise them. I will never have respect for the people that follow fanatical Turkish views, and I do not and will never have respect for that flag; I'd wipe my ass with it every chance I get.

So what would you say to me, a Greek cypriot whos family lived through the illegal occupation of Cyprus by turkey, witnessed the murder and displacement of thousands of greek Cypriots and other human rights violations; what do you say to me when this authoritarian state still ocuupies the north of my homeland, and I say fuck turkey.
