truly nobody is doing it like donna noble. she tracked down the doctor herself so she could travel with him and proceeded to get in a massive fight with him that fundamentally changed both their worldviews on their first time time-travelling together. she’s the fastest typer in chiswick. she kept the doctor so in line that within like two episodes of her being gone he decided he was god-king of the universe. she kissed him and absolutely hated it. she’s unemployed. she demanded a salute and she got one and she DESERVED IT. she has her gay best friend from like twenty years ago living in a shed in her backyard and her husband is cool with this. i love her so so so much

while i’m talking ludwig, can I just say that SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS I am so fucking glad james cheating and choosing to leave his family were both fakeouts. like i feel like it’s such a cliche that when a main character tries to rescue someone missing, it turns out the missing person was a piece of shit. even from the one moment we had of him, i can tell james adores lucy and henry more than anything and that’s so much more compelling to me because i actually want him to come back which means i support the main characters’ PRIMARY GOAL. so many stories like this get it wrong imho

the way the score in ludwig uses the first notes from fur elise in their suspense music keeps making me expect the full song but it never comes. like. is there a word for musical edging.

I love how it's practically canon that the TARDIS loves Yaz. Just straight-up ADORES her. Let's her fly through the vortex with basically a wobble, lands exactly where Yaz wants to, and operates smooth as anything the whole time.

Thirteen is jealous, of course, but she finds it difficult to complain because... well, it's Yaz.

While there are items of furniture brought on and off, the set design and backdrop doesn't really change throughout the show. This sort of shows the way the show can be interpreted - the messages and purpose are still relevant wherever and whenever you are.
