Animation ‘Peer Pressure’
By Annika Marit Kretschmer
Level 3 Year 1, Graphics
I made my first attempt at 2D animation for my FMP. The result is a short film which talks about peer pressure. Peer pressure is really noticeable when someone in a group of people wants to be seen as cool. It is also most often seen in the behaviour of young people, which is why I chose it for the theme ‘Youth’.
I posted the video on my Instagram (@ annikamarit) and it can be watched when clicking on the link.

Youth
By Oliwia Storczyk
Fine Art- Level 3 Year 1
This photo shows my final piece which relates to theme "Youth". I wanted to show joyful effect by showing positivity of identity. I decided to combine two different face profiles to support the style of Brian Calvin, and one of the face remains with his ideas of facial features. I wanted to create a contrast between real facial features and non- natural features. Which makes the whole portraiture look more spontaneous.

Youth
by Renee Hickman
level 3 year 2
https://www.instagram.com/reneeeart/
This is an oil painting, that I edited into a photo collage and added some line work on top. This was the result of looking at youth. The idea for this piece developed from looking at fairytales, imagination and mythical stories when first thinking about the project. This piece symbolises good and evil, which is a massive theme in many fairytales. The Face on the left shows to be angry and green, whereas the face on the right seems to be pretty and happy. This is to show the contrast between good and evil in stories.

For this project I made 2 separate zines about myself and my mum when we travelled together to certain places as I grew up that's how I linked it to "Youth". To me it symbolises how much I travelled as I grew up and how much I enjoyed it when I was younger.

'Listen'
Amethyst Graham
Level 3 Year 2 Fine Art
This is a painting I have done for the ‘Youth’ Project and Dorset Art Prize. The topic fits in with what I have done because my Painting is half of my younger self , it is a surrealism and symbolism painting . I have made the ears larger because I wanted the painting to look out of place and the symbolism behind it shows that from a young age we are told what to do and how to act , we haven't been able to listen to ourselves until now . Sometimes we just have to listen to our gut!
