i'm not saying that i'm the problem buuut
my bpd would be a lot more manageable if i maintained the mindset that i actually am in control of my actions

The Kraken's Tentacles (Binding Spell)
Tumblr media
Materials:
Black yarn
A photo or item of the person
A jar
Cooking or Veggie oil
Red marker
Sea water (optional)
1. If you’ve decided to use sea water, soak your yarn in it for while you prepare everything else. I like this because it makes the yarn heavier, thicker and reminds me of a tentacle.
2. Anoint the photo or item with the oil to represent the target.
3. With you red marker, write on the back of the photo (if you have an item, just write this on a piece of paper and throw it in the jar) what this person is bond from doing.
4. Repeat these things out loud if you deem it necessary.
5. While focusing on your intent, take the black yarn and wrap it around the item or photo. Use as much or as little yarn as you see fit but the more bindings, the stronger the spell will be.
6. Throw that shit in the jar, seal it and bam.

Overly strict parenting creates sneakier kids. Punishing your kids for telling the truth creates better liars. Or people more afraid to tell the truth than to tell a lie. Invading your children’s privacy creates lifelong crippling trust issues. Over pressuring you child to succeed creates life long anxiety. And when failing those expectations destroys their self confidence. Ignoring your children can create emotional dependency and abandonment issues.

i get it. i'm sure it's hard for you to have a victim who sees themselves as such. who recognizes and demands that you recognize that, regardless of intent, abusive behavior is abusive. That it doesn't matter if you "did it because you loved me" or "did your best". Mostly because that's not why, but also because it hurts people regardless, for years and years. and they hurt people because you taught them that love hurts and one person's feelings always trump the other's. it's like you said, "true forgiveness comes without confronting the person who harmed you" except when you're the one who's been hurt 🤷‍♀️
