Synopsis: In the monarchy of the Octarian domes. Marina Ida, a high-ranking elite, lived her days serving the robust King Octavio. Her life becomes bleak and callous until one day, she receives a royal invitation to the Royal Octarian Gala. There in the palace, she encounters a 'phantom'. A strange vampire named Pearl. Someone who goes against everything she knew and falls in love with this new meaning in life. Teaser for the next upcoming chapter.
Marina shifted her eyes to her feet, “I-I thought you said that this was a game. I didn't expect you to do… nor did I really plan to…” Marina’s voice dissolved into airy squeaks as she clamored her words.
Octavian took an unusual pause and searched in the crowd before looking back at her, “You said yes so you don't need to worry about anything anymore. If it makes you feel any better, I'll take care of you and you can spend the rest of your days living humbly in the palace. I'm sure you'll love it! In a week from now I'll send a carriage for you so we can start planning the wedding." he said joyfully as he was in a sugar coated dream.
That would be a wonderful dream if Marina wanted it, but her life is outside the palace. She needed to stop this before she sinks in too deep.
