I just read the Erin in The Morning article about Sarah McBride, and the amount of trans people in the comments, blaming other trans people for "going too far", or "not seeing nuance", or "overplaying our hand", genuinely makes me want to throw up.

Look what they've done to us, the reason us trans people are losing our rights is because big, BIG money from right wing billionaires and think tanks are being funneled into systematically dismantling our rights.

You aren't losing your rights because Lia Thomas won 5th place at swim competition, or because some trans kids got healthcare, or because a girl 3 months on HRT used the restroom for the first time. You're losing your rights because BILLIONAIRES are funding RIGHT-WING EXTREMISM at levels never seen before in the history of this country.

I'm so fucking sick of hearing about the "radical left". There is no goddamn radical left in this country that has any amount of power, and the moment you idiots realize that is the moment we can stop this stupid fucking in-fighting and mobilize to protect ourselves.

If you are a trans person and think trans people are losing there rights because we've "gone too far" then you have fallen victim to the right wing propaganda machine.

Congratulations, you're now helping the same people who want to take even more from you.

trans kids deserve to be called the right pronouns and the right name by schools and doctor's offices, regardless of "parental consent." trans kids deserve to undergo the right puberty at the same time as their cis peers, regardless of "parental consent."
