actually you will not enjoy hearing this but you literally have to abandon your self deprecating humor. besides the fact that it can drive people away you literally are only hurting yourself by constantly making jokes that further cement the idea in your head that you are not good enough. I do not care that you think its a good coping mechanism it is absolutely not and you need to start challenging negative thoughts instead of feeding into them.

sometimes I love when the pictures don't load right away
I was just visiting my cousin's island and got TRAPPED in a MAZE and I was like "hey why is there a maze here" and she was like "oh that's my Labyrinth."
It took up like half her island and had pitfalls in it.

People are always talking about making John Green say “I love cocks” when it comes to having fun with tumblr’s ability to edit everyone’s posts but that one post where that person was saying fuckers and it got repeatedly edited to fudgers and meaners was 10000% funnier

tumblr comedy I haven’t seen in a while and I kind of miss: when someone says like ‘smoothies are great’ and then someone else says ‘juices are great too!’ and the first person says ‘make your own post’ and then the second person says ‘okay’ and then you scroll down and theres a second post.

I love seeing posts where someone says something that clearly sets up a joke and then has very obviously messaged their friend to question it in a reblog so they deliver the punchline with maximum impact. Haven't seen that in a while

Hey, check out City of Ghosts series.
It has:
Great animation
Nice LGBT+ representation (one of the main characters uses they/them and other has two moms)
Good sountrack
Vey relaxing tone
It explores different types of cultures each episodes. (Black, indigenous American,Japanese)
Each episode is told like a documentary (The protagonists interview people and ghosts)
Each ghost has their own backstory that is often related with the culture explored in the episode.
One of the main themes is the protagonists helping bring back traditions that seemed lost.
Overall, it very down too Earth and the stories are cute.
It’s somewhat educational while being entertaining.

it's completely shocking and saddening to me that people are taking this superstraight bullshit seriously enough to think that it's something you need to reject. Stop making posts that say "DON'T TALK TO ME IF YOU'RE SUPERSTRAIGHT. UNFOLLOW IF YOU IDENTIFY AS DJFNJDDN". You're giving this obviously fake creation by some imageboard social rejects the legitimacy they were hoping for when they were concocting it. By acting like "superstraight" is anything other than something someone made to piss people off, you're laying the foundation for people to start identifying as it unironically.
Just let it die. you don't NEED internet points for reblogging a post saying "unfollow if you're superstraight!" or a post making fun of the concept entirely. so just don't interact with any posts you see which act like it's a legitimate thing. it isn't.

What and who is included in the lgbt/queer/gay(general) communities aren’t always super clear cut actually and like... that’s fine.
