One of my favorite scenes (but it is underrated).

We know that Armin often gave Eren encouragement and determination throughout the first 3 seasons, but I rarely see people talking about this scene.

It happened in season 3, before the battle defeating Rod Reiss's giant titan. Eren told Armin that children in the Trost district were similar to EA when Reiner and Bertholdt broke the Maria wall (he was talking about a giant titan attacking their homeland). Armin said that the difference is those children already had the Survey Corps, including Eren and Armin, who were standing on the Rose wall, protecting them. I love Eren's eyes after Armin's words.

(English is not my strength, i hope you can ignore some mistakes).

armored titan armin au pt iii. reminiscence

ok so context for this to make some kind of sense :

→ i actually dont know why theyre reunited here i just needed an excuse for them to be in bertholdt's childhood home. lets pretend theyre like collaborating to exchange info as diplomats or smtng idk

→ for some reason in my mind bertholdt's father would have a huge record collection. berts hobby is said to be dozing off in a quiet place, but in this au, i think that the silence might make his thoughts spiral after coming back home from shiganshina, so he frequently listens to music and keeps them playing in his spare time, hence this comic. it also makes him feel closer to his father.

→ armin would be fascinated with marley's technology. it's really a shame we didn't see more of his interactions with the exterior world (that weren't war related or otherwise negative)
