i was wondering if you ever did a recolor of the parenthood bathtub? I've been trying to find a recolor i had a few years ago (had to delete my mods folder and restart bc weird crashes) and now I cant find it. It was very witchy, had occult stuff and what not. For the life of me I cant remember WHO made it. Sorry to bother!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had encountered freezing issues with your hanging shelf as well? After the latest patch my game started freezing in build mode and it seems to have been stopped by taking out your shelf + one other from another modder. Could this be a problem with how the slots in shelf are processed now? Sorry if this is a silly question and it's already been solved, I don't follow the CC scene too closely.

I’ve tried to replicate the problem but so far I’ve not been able to. The shelf seems to be working fine in my game, so I’m not sure why it isn’t working for you, I’m so sorry!

Can anyone else let me know if you’re having problems with my hanging shelf? If there’s an issue with it I’d like to get it fixed asap! Thanks!

Sorry for being missing for so long, I haven’t been playing The Sims much lately, and I haven’t been inspired to make CC.

Until, that is, I stumbled upon these temporary tattoos on Pinterest: https://tattooednow.myshopify.com/collections/delft/products/delft-birds-and-flowers-set-07  I have a huge soft spot for blue and white pottery, like delftware or blue willow pattern, so I think these are absolutely beautiful. I can’t have them in real life, so I’ll live vicariously though my sims as always.

I really wanted these to show up well on all skintones, so there are three shades of blue, each with three opacities (full, 75% and 50%). There’s also an extra black swatch for super dark skintones, so hopefully there’ll be a swatch for everyone.

I know you've been away from simblr for quite a while, but I was wondering if you intended to ever make more Dishonored clutter? I'm such a fan of the game and since I do primarily historical builds, it'd be nice to have some of the items to slap into my world.

Ooh, you know, I’ve been wanting to get back into CC making but wasn’t sure where to start, so that might be the perfect thing for me to do! I might have to dig through my Dishonored files again :D

I can’t promise I’ll have anything done very soon, but I’ll put Dishonored clutter at the top of my list!

Hi! I'm sorry to bother you, but I do not know who else to turn than a simblr. I haven't been playing my game in a while and realize I now should clean my CC from those that exceeds the new slot limit, hence I came to get your amazing apothecary shelv too. My real question tho, for I'm confused, do I still need to purge all my slotted CC that exceed 180 slots or did the sims team fix it already somehow so I do not have to? Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

Hi! Sorry for being slow to get back to you! I’ve not played the sims for quite a while now, IRL stuff kind of took up most of my time lately (and I’ve been playing far too much Destiny 2 as well), so I have no idea if the slot issue ever got patched by EA. I’ve had a few people mention that there were some fixes recently for cc, but I don’t know if the slot issue is still around. If you’re able to load up your game without any crashes, you might be fine with your CC in place, but I can’t say for certain.

Asking any of my followers for an input on this. Is the excess slot issue still a problem?

Fixes the slot issue that was causing crashes!

This is the most complex mesh I’ve made so far, but I saw an apothecary cabinet like this on Pinterest and I NEEDED IT. Just because EA haven’t given us witches (yet *fingers crossed*) doesn’t mean I can’t fill all my builds with witchy clutter. And I completely fell in love with those little doors. Just look at them.

It’s base game compatible, and comes in a variety of suitably dark maxis match swatches. It’s got slots all over the place, even behind the little open doors, so I went a bit overboard on the set dressing for this preview (I’ve never seen a tidy apothecary so that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it). It’s a completely new mesh made from scratch with a combination of EA wood and hand painting for the textures.

It’s sliiiightly higher poly than I would have liked, but not too bad for a cabinet considering how many nooks and crannies it has. 

Please let me know if you have any issues! Meshing still feels very new to me, so I need to know if I’m doing anything wrong :o

Hello! I was wondering if you possibly had an updated version of your apothecary cabinet? Something in the latest patch seems to be incompatible with certain cc with a bunch of item slots. I don't know exactly why but apparently I'm not the only one experiencing it. Anyway I love your cabinet and was very sad that I had to remove it. I had it in a bunch of my builds and haven't found anything to replace it that looks as good.

hi, um i dont know if i am doing this right or not, but my game was crashing and i have spent all night going thru my cc trying to figure it out. it seems your apothocary cabinet is the only cc i can find causing the issue. this is the first time i have ever done this, so maybe its me, but i thought i would let you know

Hi! The cabient was definitely causing crashes, It’s not just you! I’ve just uploaded a new version with less decor slots, which will hopefully have fixed the problem. *crosses fingers* Let me know if it works for you!

Hey everyone! I’ve got a potential fix for the apothecary cabinet! If anyone else could test this version out for me that would be fantastic. It’s working in my game without causing crashes, but I don’t want to assume the problem is gone until others can confirm it too.

Unfortunately, to fix the crashing I’ve had to reduce the amounts of decor slots the cabinet had, from 250+ all the way down to 80. It’s a shame, but if that’s what it takes to get it working again.

If you’re gonna test this one out, please try loading your game with no other CC installed, if you can. It’s the only way I can be sure the problem is fixed.

Quick update on the apothecary cabinet - it’s definitely causing crashes I’m afraid, it’s crashing my game too. Thank you to everyone who got in touch with me. Please hold off on using it for now!

I’m unable to get back to my PC for a few days, but I’ve done some digging around in the meantime and I’ve heard mention that it might have something to do with the slots on the item. Some other CC cabinets/bookshelves are causing crashes for me too.

Please bear with me while I try to get this fixed. It makes me so happy that you all love it so much, and I want you to be able to use it again as soon as possible, but I haven’t been making CC for very long and this is the first time a patch has broken something I’ve made.

Hey there ! I'm absolutely sorry if this message bother you, and also absolutely sorry for my weak English. I just patched my game and had a violent crash everytime I tried to load a lot. After checking my CC with the 50/50 method, it sounds the problem comes from your amazing Apothecary Cabinet : one of my all-time favorite objects. I tried both the old and fixed versions, and both crash my game. Did you notice a problem as well ? Anyway, thanks so much for it, and have a wonderful day ! ^^

Hi! Do you by any chance know if the original apothecary cabinet disappears in the game if I replace the file with the fixed one? I just... there are a lot of little things placed in it and I'm a lazy human :'D Thank you :D

Hi sorry to bother you! I adore your Apothecary's Cabinet, but I find that it fades out unusually fast inside my game. Even when I zoom back out it seems temporarily missing at certain angles.. Am I missing something? Perhaps a setting on my game? Thank you for your time!

I’ve had a few people let me know about this issue, and I’ve actually noticed it happening myself too now. I’ve tried a few things to fix it, but haven’t succeeded yet. It seems to be disappearing mostly when I look at it from the back. I’ve tried tinkering with the LODs and the mipmaps but nothing has fixed it yet. As soon as I find a fix I’ll upload it for you all!
