“So long as it’s in doses, right?” Callum laughed softly as he nodded in agreement. Rita wasn’t someone he had spent any time with at all, really. That didn’t mean he didn’t want to though. That she kept away from the herds of pompous royalty intrigued him. “Your dad sounds like a smart guy. The quickest way in isn’t always the quickest out,” Callum chimed pointedly. “Are you enjoying the view from here?”

"And rightly earned," she teased, eyes flickering briefly towards movement down below. The cheerleaders had started another dance was all, and she hated the relief that flooded through her as Callum caught her eye once more. "He wasn't an imbecile all the time." Her lips twitched again briefly. " He used to say the easy way in is usually the hardest way to get back out." It was weird talking about her father. She hardly mentioned him even on the Isle. But there was something almost kindred between the two of them, that made it dangerously easy. 

Gently she tipped her head, chin rising as she watched him. Her eyes grew innocent as she rolled it back to the game. Zeroing in once more on the dancers. Smirking to herself. "It's not half bad."

     ❛ Scared? ❜ Cocky smirk drew across his lips. Calling a name? He doubted that they were tucked away in the Terrible Trios hideaway and as far as the trick-or-treater knew they were alone. No one knew they were there and apart from his duo no one knew where it was... at least he thought. It was seconds after his comment but his hand darted down to the slingshot on his belt - earlier he dismissed it as the creaking of the roof but that slow - old creak had sounded again. Footsteps. ❛ Expecting anyone? ❜ He questioned backing over towards her, drawing his slingshot up. As much as he loved a bit of chaos he didn’t like the unknown, it was the Isle it could be anyone coming and considering some of his enemies he wouldn’t like to take a guess at who.
