I want to apologize for the delays in getting to the asks and messages. This blog has multiple members but due to the way tumblr sets things up, only the main admin can see the actual full inbox.

Unfortunately the main admin, which is me, has been in the hospital off and on and I haven’t had the chance to get Asks and RP’s assigned out. I am working on a way to solve this issue so that other members can access the main blog and the inbox.

Until a better solution is found I ask that people please be patient.

If you have sent in an ask to the nightclub blog and you are not receiving contact. Please feel free to message one of the blog members on their main blog.

Nightclub AU Informational Post

We realize that not everyone uses a computer to access tumblr and that accessing pages and links are difficult on the mobile app (read: tumblr mobile is a pile of shit). This is why all of the pages created on the blog (with a few exceptions) are copied into posts. Some of the pages have too much text to copy unfortunately. While I have posted all of those pages on the blog as the post numbers grow it will be harder to find those posts. OC/Muse Name: Dr. Vivian Carstairs, D.V.M.

Race:  Human

Female:

Age: 30

OC/Muse Appearance:  (Face claim is Jessica Biel) Dark golden blond hair, shoulder-length, wavy; dark green eyes;  5’9”; 145 lbs. curvy but fit.  She has a rich, smoky sweet contralto voice just made for singing torch songs.

OC/Muse Background: Trust fund baby with absentee parents who were/are too busy with their own pleasures to pay much attention to her.  She grew up attending boarding school, tested out early and immediately went on to college (where she graduated in three years because she didn’t take summers off,) then veterinary school (University of CA-Davis,) then served a three year residency in veterinary emergency and critical care at University of Colorado (VECCS) for both large and small animals.  Became a veterinarian at the age of 26.

She practiced part-time at the Bronx Zoo for two years, then opened her own practice. 

Everything changed when she literally stumbled over an injured mutant in the alley behind her office.  She took him to one of the local clinics, where he was refused treatment, the excuse being that they couldn’t afford to take any more charity cases.  After giving the so-called doctor a piece of her mind, she took the mutant back to her practice, and treated him herself.  Since then, word has gotten around the NYC mutant community about her, and for the past two years, a steady stream of them have been coming to her for help.  It doesn’t hurt that she only charges what they can afford.

She heard about the Naughty Ninjas Nightclub, and thought it sounded like a wonderful safe place to go where she could meet like-minded individuals (non-bigots) and just relax.  Since she started working with mutants, most of her “friends” started avoiding her, and she’d like to make new ones.          

Personality:  Warm, kind and intelligent.  Stubborn.  Passionate.  Extremely ethical.  A holy terror if her principles are challenged.  Excellent sense of humor.  Hard-won self-esteem (her parents barely notice they have a daughter, and almost always forget about her until Christmas, when she is expected to show up for their lavish Christmas party.)

Why I’m applying:  I started table-top role-playing when I was in college, and have been doing it off and on ever since.  I really love the character development and interaction.  I’m new to Tumbler, but delighted with the opportunity to RP.  You have created an entire world here, with a history, and characters (muses,) and that’s very exciting.  The rules seem eminently reasonable (and pretty obvious) to me, as well. 

What kind of interaction are you looking for?  Friendship, slow burn romance, whatever happens.  It depends on how well Viv gets along with the other muses.  I will be happy with friendships, and won’t die of disappointment if I don’t get to RP with a canon character.  I am looking forward to interacting with the members of the TMNT RP community active on this blog.  I’m a little nervous, because I’m not thoroughly familiar with Tumbler, but that should take care of itself over time.

Note:  Vivian has a gorgeous voice and has had a little vocal training.  If there is ever a karaoke night, and if properly coaxed, she could be persuaded to sing.  She also plays a mean game of chess.

Main Information: OC/Muse Name: Tullia (agent 49) OC/Muse Age:: 25 OC/Muse Appearance: Crocodile mutant, She 5’9 and strong built, the girl is nothing but pure muscle! Her body is lean and defined, she stands a bit more upright, her hide is thick and a moss green. She covered in scars and bullet holes, she has auburn hair color that’s pulled in low pony tail or cascading down her back. She has one hell of a thick tail, the spine ridges on her tail are thinly blabbed and can seriously hurt someone of she twists her tail in such a manner. She had thick talons and clawed feet, that click when she walks, she normally a mini kimono dress with a petticoat underneath and a hood to hide her face. Her snout is small and has a few teeth outside her snout. Even if she built like a war machine, she has shy golden green reptilian eyes.

OC/Muse Details: Tullia was born the way she was, or she say hatched? Her egg was a normal crocodile’s egg, scientist curious to see how the mutagen would affect an embryo, Tullia finally hatched four years after her hatch date of her clutch of brothers and sisters. She as the only one to taken in the mutagen, growing in her egg like a child in a womb until finally hatching, the only one in her clutch to actually hatch, though to her embarrassment and the scientist glee, she hatched upside down. She grew up in the lab much like any other child, made sure she was heard and seen, always getting into things and was the loudest of the bunch of other mutant children in the experiment.

Just several months after her third birthday, when the lab lost it funding, Tullia and the other children were sold off on the black market. She was bought and dumped into Government science facility, there she was experimented on for two years before being shipped off and trained in the ways of being an assassin. She was the first mutant subject to become an assassin, her once loud and free spirit was broken and beaten down into an obedient mindless drone, until she heard of the news of two of her old superior officers had gone missing. Agent Chanel and Agent Adam, they had her since she was five taught her everything they knew; they were strict and never relenting like any Superior should but they were also gentle handed when needed and often gave praise when it was deserved like any parent would be. In her eyes they were her Mother and Father, they taught her more than just how to be a ruthless killer. It was the pushed she needed to get from under the Agency and out into the world and disappear forever. Why are you applying? I join in on something like this long time ago and I loved it! It was a bit disorganized but it was still loads of fun, and now that I found something like this again I so want to be a part of this. Plus I feel this is a great place to explore your Oc and just meet new friends.

  What kind of interaction are you seeking? I don’t get to use Tullia very much, so I love to see how she would be in this situation, will she find love and friendship or will she sink. So basically all kinds of interaction to sweet adorable friendships to naughty lovin are welcome, haha this poor baby need to get out more.

  Choose: Patron Notes: Tullia is unnaturally strong, in the beginning when I made her, she was supposed go head to head with Raph and hold her own, even going as far as tackling his ass enough to back him up. She a slow moving gal, give her time….lots of it…she’ll get there

If you are in this list please let me know if you want to participate in the orientation RP. We will probably do this on Monday and I would like to get through it as quickly as possible so I am looking for shorter responses. The order the tags are showing in would be the order that you post in. If you have multiple OCs, please include all of their actions/reactions into one post. Even if you have to separate it with bars or something. This will make the whole process go faster.

Baxter nodded and waited for her to sign the papers and pushed the full employee packed back over to her as he placed her signed employment papers to the side.

“As I stated before we have an orientation today. It would be in your best interest if you stayed today as that would mean we could actually start paying you from today as opposed to you waiting until the next orientation which will be next week.”

He stood up and escorted her to the door. “:Go down this hall, take the elevator up one floor and the new hires are meeting in the main lounge. There should be refreshments while you wait for the orientation to start.”

Baxter ushered the rude woman out and shut the door before heading back to his desk and pulling out another stress ball. He really did not need this.

Marina pushed the door open, firmly striding over towards the desk. "Mr. Peckster Shrinkman I presume?" Marina flopped into the chair. "It's my turn. Been waiting all afternoon."

Baxter looked up after having calmed himself down a bit. He had pushed the next interview back by a few minutes but it seems that had only made this situation worse. He huffed and glared at the woman. “Baxter Stockman” He corrected the woman as he looked over her papers.

“What position are you applying for?” He was more curt with her than other applicants. So far she was not shaping up to be a good fit for the company. “You have skills listed but we like to place people where is suits not just their skills but their personality.”

A somewhat deferential knock sounded against the frame of Baxter's open door. "Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, but I think I'm a little bit lost. I was told to come speak with a Mr... Stackman, I think it was? I'm not sure where his office is."

Baxter sucked in a breath and mumbled "Stockman" as he waved the next applicant in. "That would be me, this is my office, you are in the right place, please have a seat." He gestured to the chair in front of his desk and hoped that this interview would go smoother than the last one.

Baxter listened but did not show any signs of sympathy or empathy, he seemed completely nonplussed by the whole explanation. He just nodded. "Well right now we need more experienced bartenders but you could easily start as a barback or wait staff. You would be best placed on the main floor it is the most crowded and wont suffer from inexperienced staff. There would be plenty of noise as a distraction."

He looked her up and down. "I will be honest with you. Your attitude will not win you any fans here. Personally, if it were only up to me, I would show you the door. However, we pride ourselves on diversity and realize that some people are only human and cannot help the way they are. So I am prepared to offer you a job should you actually want it. Benefits can be discussed if necessary or you can just read through our packet. We have an orientation happening today if you want to head over to the first floor lounge there should be refreshments while some of the veteran employees explain how we do things."

Baxter would have liked to not hire the girl, she was rude and they could not tolorate rudeness to the customers. However, everyone on the roster to be interviewed today was selected by someone above him and so he only had say if they were grossely unqualified, which this particular applicant was right on the line of.

"So, if you are actually interested and not just wasting my time." He pushes an employment packet and papers to sign over to her. "I am sure we could find something that will make all of us happy."

NO Nonny May Challenge

Hey there fellow TMNT fans! I have a proposition for all of you.

For the month of May let’s all turn off anon!

I have noticed that a lot of people are dealing with hate, much of it isn’t even being made public (don’t fees the trolls am I right?) But that doesn’t seem to be enough to stop them.

Without the option of anon, how many people would be forced to just air their grievances publicly, or perhaps just have a tall glass of STFU?

It would atleast bring a few days of peace, which some of us need.

Yes it might be stressful for some of our shyer members, but this could also be a confidence building exercise too!

So, what do you guys say? Make May no nonny month?

Baxter cleared his throat and tried to just breathe through the rudeness. He wasn’t sure if she was just flippant or if she just didn’t need the job. If that were the case there were others better suited for their company and he wouldn’t have to worry about it.

His tone was short, curt, but not rude. “We have openings in all divisions. We are hiring for almost every position below director and manager level. This is why we do these interviews to suss out peoples skills. Here at the Nightclub, which is owned by RW Industries, it is important to us that our employees are happy in their jobs. A happy employee is a better worker. So we try to match not just skills to jobs, but find out what people would like to do with their lives.”

He shuffles some papers and pulls a few out. “We offer on the job training for people looking to transition into roles they have never tried, or for people looking to better their skills. We offer education credit and reimbursement for those in school. If they are in school for a degree that is applicable to their work here, we provide more.”

He doesn’t bother going over their elaborate benefits package but has the papers on his desk. “So we have openings all over, we just need to make sure the people we are hiring are the.... right fit.. for the company. So.. where do you see yourself?”

Baxter just stood there and took it. She was so happy and he just had to wait until the door shut. He grabbed the throw pillow from the nice chair in the corner of his office and screamed into it for five minutes.

Once he was done screaming he just whimpered. “Stockman. My name is Baxter Stockman.”

A timid looking blonde knocked quietly on the doorframe. "Excuse me, sir, I'm looking for a Mr. Dusty mopman? My name is Caitlin and I wanted to follow up on my application?"

Baxter looked up from his paperwork as the next applicant came in. Somewhere inside he was screaming at the newest butcherment of his name. He cleared his throat to hid it and gestured towards the empty seat.

“Please take a seat and we can discuss your employment options.” She seemed timid so he did not want to overwhelm her with too much information at once. “I need to know your skills, even if you think they aren’t needed they could in fact be useful. We want to place people not only where they will benefit us, but where you would like to be. We like for people to play to their strengths and actually enjoy their jobs. We pride ourselves on our low turnover, and part of that is we understand the need for work-life balance. Happy employees, makes for a better work place.”
