★RAP MONSTER

1994.9.12/A/Leader, Rap. Known as Rapmon. Ideal type: a girl that wears converse sneakers. 

JIN: 「It has been a while since we’ve talked (facing each other) like this. Do you still remember? When I decided to join BTS, you called me out to a café near the company. You asked me whether I’m determined to join BTS, what kind of dream do you want to achieve in the group. I thought that I was serious/ earnest about becoming a singer and joining the group but Rap Monster’s determination was way above that. I was touched thinking that 『ah, this guy is serious』 and I thought that I had to get a grip on myself. He was young but he paid for the coffee, he said: 『I called you out so I will pay for you.』」

RAP MONSTER: 「Jin and I was brought up in a similar (family) environment but our parents’ education is slightly different. My parents are the type that aims to move up (in the world), so they would always say 『you got to succeed, no matter what.』 So I think I’m more ambitious than the others.」
