Your Eyes, My Night Sky

I saw in your eyes

As I remove mine from these lens

Raw untouched wonder

A series of fireworks

Painted by the colors of a rainbow

Emanating from your two beautiful orbs;

White spheres enveloping black beauty

Such blackness with a certain kind of depth

That unravels my soul

And electrifies my emptiness

It's been a long time but

Finally, I am filled

Happiness is a choice yet it is extremely difficult to choose to be happy when everything around you is falling apart because there is almost nothing to draw happiness from.

Why is the ocean blue? 

They say it has something to do with how the sunlight enters the water 

And how we perceive that light reflected by the water 

We are taught to see blue

 Destined to see blue 

Just like how we are destined 

To one day face the blues of tomorrow 

Though it may appear blue, light will always be of many colors 

Just like what our tomorrow is going to be

Hindi ba’t napakasarap sa pakiramdam ng nag-iisa?

I saw in your eyes as I looked through my lens A new universe to dwell into A new future to look out for Never have I thought of sharing the same glimmer “Content with my own universe” No longer my option

I saw in your eyes as I looked through my lens A set of jewels that can see the future Sparkling lights, they are destined To light up the darkness Built up inside me Their serene warmth Consuming my deepest abyss

I saw in your eyes as I looked through my lens A soul afraid of drowning For its light is too fragile Broken by the storms of the pasts Shook by winds of regrets and mistrust How I wish to save thee To be the cure to the salt in your wounds

I saw in your eyes as I take a quick glimpse A universe so vast I would love to sink in Clusters of stars and crimson moons An ocean of serenity Mountains unbent and unbroken Galaxies and singularities destructively collide An infinity bigger than any other

I saw in your eyes as I look at them directly Beauty unmatched by nature Intellect above the laws of the universe Humor I cannot get enough of Kindness as warm as summer P e r f e c t i o n How I wish for you to be mine

Once I am ready to drown in your universe To be the subject of your forseen future To be the savior of your deepest waters I swear to this land of monsters and gods I will take thy hand And fuse my universe into yours

A home of broken pieces you left me
