Landing on the balls of his feet Mathias straightens up and looks up from where he jumped and memories come flooding back.

 "Oi Mathias!" A smiling blond male running towards him waving a paper in the air. Mathias turned around to meet the male while timing back his long black hair. 

"What makes you so happy Isaiah?" 

"I just got the letter from the Order.'' Smiling from ear to ear Isaiah looked up at Mathias. 

"What are you going to make me ask what is in the letter Sai?"

 Isaiah, being shocked that Mathias called him by his childhood nickname, sputtered "I-you-" shaking his head "We both passed our hunters exam!" 

Mathias letting out a deep laugh and ruffling Isaiah's hair "I knew you could do it"

"Mathias, we all knew that I could do it. I am just shocked that they let you through being what you are and all" with saying the last words Isaiah looks down a bit ashamed of what he had said. 

"Hey now Sai. We all knew from the start that once what I was came to light that it would be difficult for me." 

HHHHHHOOOOOOONNNNNKKKKK

"Get out of the way you idiot" Jumping back from the oncoming car Mathias snaps back to the present. 

*get it together he's been gone for a year stop this or you will ruin the mission* 

"Hey Mat! Where are you? Cap said you dropped off the radar." 

Growling Mathias  touches his left ear "Damn it Hwa, you know I hate it when people call me Mat." 

"Ha! Knew that would get your attention. Anyways you call me by my nickname."  

Pinching the bridge of his nose and sighing loudly " Hwa that is because you have a long ass name that is correlated to your time as a idol" 

Laughter from 8 voices can be heard over the radio. "Mathias come to base, we have more information on what you are hunting and which team you will be joining." 

Dropping his head "aye aye captain." Pulling out his in ear , Mathias starts to walk down the street, his head still scrambling from his memories. 

*Why out of all days did you pop up now?* 

Making it back to base he is greeted by the order's princess, who was in fact not a princess at all but he liked the color pink and being called princess. 

"Mathias welcome home, the rest of the team are in the war room. They sent me to collect you...what's wrong you seem sad"

 Smiling at the 6 foot tall man. His hair this time was his favorite color "I am fine Mingi, why is it not Jongho greeting me. I thought it was the youngest job to welcome people."

"Typically yes but Hongjoong has him on a mission right now" 

Nodding his head Mathais walks past Mingi  "I see the war room right?"

 Mingi smiling brightly and nodding "Yes Mathias, do you want a snack?"

 *Isaiah I see you in everyone*  

"No thank you Mingi. See you at dinner?" 

Mingi bouncing in place nodded even more now "Yes, I will save your favorite meat buns!" 

Skipping off Mingi rounded the corner humming an old song that seemed to haunt him, but he was not compaining.  

Mathias makes his way to the war room. Stopping right before the door he takes off his leather duster to hang it up outside the war room. Looking up at the pegs to hang coats he noticed that there are more than the team's coats along the wall. Puzzled, shaking his head,he hangs his coat up. Mathias stands in front of the war room door and knocks softly "Captain it's Mathias" 

"Enter Mathias," Hongjoong said through the door.  

Mathias opened the door to the war room seeing that beside his team there were an additional 8 people sitting around the table "Ok who is King Aurther?" Mathias said with a large smile on his face. Seong Hwa just shook his head and smiled at Mathias. 

"No kings here and you know that Mathias. Anyways if there was going to be a King it would be you since you are the last of your kind" 

Mathias looking down at his large shitkickers rubs the back of his neck. "Sorry Cap, you know me i don't do well with new people '' Still looking down he notices that a small pair of boots in his line of sight, looking up in shock that someone other than his teammates approached him. 

Standing before him was a small male not small like the other Order member Jimin or even Zi but smaller than him. This male had silver hair and it was about as long as his and it was stylishly pulled back with some hair still around his face.

Taking a step back from the male and dropping his hand from the back of his neck he bowed slightly to the male because he seemed to be the same race as his team mates. "Hello" he said in a deep yet soft voice. The other male looked at him in shock and spoke back in just as deep of a voice as Mathias

 "Hello, I am Yong Bok but everyone calls me Felix" Shocked at the deep voice coming from such a small male Mathais just stared at the young one.

*why do i see you everywhere, You have been gone now for a year, I am now even starting to hear your voice when people talk*

-meanwhile back at base-

San and Wooyoung were both smiling with happiness that the higher ups in the Order finally put their two teams together for the mission. They both were hoping that it would be a permanent thing. Escorting the other 8 men back to the war room, Wooyoung looked over to see his friend. Still small and yet powerful, his voice has not changed in the many years that they were able to get together on a regular basis.

"Please everyone sit" Hongjoong stated as he stood at the front of the room. "Naturally we all know each other so we will save introductions when our other member that you don't know shows up." Hongjoong cleared his throat.

 "I must give you all a little information about our team mates. Since the fall of humanity there has been an influx of supernatural creatures that for some reason only Kpop idols have been able to destroy. There are some rumors that we are trying to get confirmed on the hows and whys, But no matter we have been able to help the world in more ways that we thought we could. As for our one member he is not a Kpop Idol nor is he even Korean or even human."

At that the room became suddenly and painfully quiet. "He is the last of his kind and from what the Order has been able to discover about him he is the only Pure one of his kind that was left before the down fall"  

A man with serious eyes looks at Hongjoon "You're telling me and the rest of us that we have to work with a vamp?" 

"Minho!" Bangchan scolded "Sorry Joonie, please continue" Bangchan glaring at Minho and mouthing some words to him. 

A tiny hand is lifted in the air "Are vampires as bad as everyone says they are?"

"Yes and no Felix. You see I did not know much about how vampires worked and how things are structured within their community, but from what our member has told me and what the order has confirmed the ones that are the bad ones are what they call morphs. Those who have been infused with the DNA of a vampire. They tend to go crazy from what has been told to me because their bodies are not meant to sustain that kind of DNA." Hongjoon looks over at his team and the new members and nods slightly.

Seong Hwa stands up to continue on for Hongjoon. "The Pure are the vampires that are born from other Pures. There has never been a lot of them and since the fall there are even less now. In fact there is only one left and his name is Mathias.”

-knock,knock-

Everyone looked at the door and some of the newcomers started standing while a couple of the newcomers hid behind others.

 "Captain it's Mathias" 

San, Wooyoung, Yun-ho,Yeo-sang all smiled at the door while Hongjoon was looking at the newcomers. He leans forward towards them and whispers while smiling "Don't be scared he will be more awkward around you then you think"

"Enter Mathias"

The door slowly moved inward towards the war room and there stood a male that you don't see every day even in the kpop world. He was over 6 foot tall, had long black hair that seemed to be made from silk from the way it shines, He had his hair tied back but not very well done. He was also wearing a black sleeveless top that seemed to be painted on to his body because it was so tight that you could see his ribs move when he breathed in. 

The large male glanced around the room and he had ice blue eyes to the point of them being sliver or even white. His skin was that of a lovely copper color that the idols have only seen in westerners. 

A sharp intake of breath could be heard by those around the one that made it, the sound was not heard by the others, Hyun Jin looked over at Felix and smiled softly. Leaning over and whispering to Felix as the Large male made a stupid joke to break the ice 

"Felix your drooling" 

"Am not" Felix whispered back. 

Turning his attention back to the large male he stood up and silently walked over to the male feeling like he had met him before somewhere.Seeing him up close was definitely better than where he was sitting in the war room. 

The man looked up sharply and a flash of pain went across his eyes which was covered quickly with confusion. He bowed slightly and in a deep voice almost as deep as his own said hello. Shocked that someone of his kind could have that deep of a voice Felix smiled and introduced himself to the male, Again the look of pain and loss flashed in his ice blue eyes. 

-back to present-

"Mathais, you know most everyone here. Let's have the new ones introduce themselves" Hwa said as he motions for everyone to take their seats. 

Looking around the table there were only 16 chairs, 8 for his team and 8 for the newcomers. Mathias never sat at the table in the war room; he always held up the wall. Going to his typical spot on the wall the small male with the deep voice called him over to sit next to him. Politely shaking his head and leaning up against the wall they started to make introductions. 

"Well Felix got his out of the way, I am BangChan, you can call me Chris or Channie or even Bangchan. I was the leader of the kpop group Straykids before the fall." 

Standing up and giving Mathias a look that would cause a weaker male to cower "I am Minho or you can call me Lee Know" Sitting back down never taking his eyes off of Mathias

*right Minho is not going to work especially since one of the Orders higher ups name is Minho, I will have to call this one Lee Know* 

Bowing from his chair slightly while making his introduction " Hey everyone i am Changbin, For the love of god don't call me Dwaekki" 

Holding back a laugh and trying to look serious Mathias nodded.

 *who gave him the nickname of pig rabbit. He looks more like a tank*

Looking around the room and deciding to stand "Hello everyone I am Hyun Jin '' 

Right after Hyun Jin Was Han who said to not call him a specific type of animal that can be found in Australia. Mathias thought to himself that he would need to look more into this old kpop group to see why they are so against their nicknames or animals. He was sure that all idols had animals that represented them that were made by their fans when they were in their prime and before the fall. 

After Han was Seung Min and after him was Jeong In or I.N. Mathias knew that his name was old but while working with the only group of people that could destroy the creatures responsible for the fall his name was normal and not hard to learn or pronounce. 

Lost in his own thoughts he looks up and realizes that everyone was looking at him, blushing slightly he does a formal 90 degree bow "It is an honor to know your names. My name is Mathias Connor, I am a Pure. I was born in 850."

"850..What? You can not be over 5 thousand years old!" Minho said in disbelief with a hit of awe.

 Mingi came walking in the door at that time followed by Jongho "Actually he is alot older than that but that is as far back as his memories go and as far back as the Order could find"

Looking down at his shitkickers folding his arms "I don't look like i am much out of my 30's but i am old, benefit of being a Pure i suppose"

Mingi walked over to Mathias and touched his head. Mingi had to reach a little bit. Besides Yun Ho they were the 3 tallest people here, but Mathias was taller than the rest.

 "You still look sad, everything ok?" 

Looking at Mingi and smiling softly "I will be fine no need to worry about me" 

Mathias took Mingis hand and kissed the back of it then led him to his chair, which in fact was the only pink one and everyone knew why. Going back to his spot Mathias looked at the small male with the deep voice and saw his face redden.

*Have you returned already, If you have please let this be my second chance*

-flashback-

Looking back up at Mathias Isaiah smiled warmly 

"You know you are more happy now that you have started working for the Order. I remember when you first came here you were always brooding”

“Was not!" Mathias said laughing and leading the way back to the main building of the Order. 

"Yes you where you did not leave your room for months not even for lessons" Sai was a much smaller male but his voice was just as deep as Mathias's which shocked Sai the first time he heard him talk. 

But unlike Mathias Sai was always warm and full of hope and love no matter the walk of life people came from.

"Sai when you are as old as I am getting lessons done by someone who has not even breached the triple digit mark is like...Having a baby teach you mathematics" 

"Putting it that way I can understand why you did not come to lessons but you did not even come out of the room to eat with the others until I dragged you out" 

Lifting his chin as if he was the better Sai smiled. Rolling his eyes Mathias picks up Sai by the waist and leans down close to his ear 

"And how well did that turn out for you Sai" 

Turning at least 3 shades of red Sai smacked Mathias's arm playfully "Stop teasing and it turned out well."

Setting Sai down they both walked into the main building of the Order.

 "Oh I think that we need to go see the Higher ups in person now that we passed, Something about getting out code names and licenses." Sai bouncing like a little rabbit in front of Mathias.

"Alright you go first I need to stop off to see Key, I guess they had to special order my uniform or whatever you call it because I am 'not of standard size' " Maythias said that last part air quoting and attempting to sound like Kibum the Master of Uniforms and HR.

 "You know that if Master Key heard you trying to sound like him that he would send you to meet your tailor" Sai laughing at his own bad joke. "Meet you outside the office door....Let's say 30 mins” 

Waving at each other they went their separate ways. Sai hummed an old kpop song which one he was not sure of but Mathias knew that it was his favorite when Sai sang or hummed it.

-back to the present-

JongHo looked over at his teammate and Felix then back at their leader. Hongjoong was not blind and he knew that this would one day happen but they were all hoping for it to happen at a later date and not with SKZ’s ray of sunshine. 

Clearing his throat JongHo sat down next to Felix and leaned over and whispered to him "You and Mathias dating already" 

Shocked Felix looks at JongHo and whispers back "No anyways I think he is with Mingi" 

"Is that what you think? Stick around and you will learn differently"  smirking JongHo looked over at Mathias; sadness flickers across his face. He again clears his throat and looks up at Hongjoong and nods.

 "Right now that everyone is here JongHo tell me what you were able to gather while you were out on your mission" 

Standing up and fixing his shirt "I was able to confirm that the 16 miles around this base is completely supernaturally free.."

"Lier there is a vamp right there" Minho standing and pointing a finger at Mathias. "How can you say that the 16 miles around this place when you have a soulless creature in on this meeting"  

"That is enough Minho!" Bangchan shouted at Minho. "Sit down and shut up" 

"No I refuse, I want to know what makes this vamp so special that he has the right to sit in with us"  

Suddenly a plastic card is flipped into the air and lands on the table in front of Minho. Mathais picture was in the top left corner and the rest of the card had his stats on it. Pulling himself from the wall, walks over to Minho forcing Minho to look up. 

"First off out  of everyone here I am the highest ranked Hunter. Second off if you want to know why I am here..I am the only one that dont give two shits that you all used to be Idols. Since the fall everyone is equal. We all bleed, eat and sleep. If you can not accept that then call Master Taemin, Master Dragon, or hell even call Master Rain." 

Stunning the room into silence except for his own teammates  that he knew the names of the top 3 higher ups, Minho sat back down. Mathais picked up his hunter's license and shoved it back in the back pocket of his leather pants. Felix's eyes were wide because even though the man did not talk very loud he was very dominating.

~cough, cough~

     "Now that is out of the way. Yes, the 16 miles around this base is safe. I went and marked the safe zone with the normal compass.” JongHo sat back down and stifled a laugh at the look on Minho's face. 

Smiling like he normally does, Hwa stood up 

"thanks JongHo for that. As for the mission that let the Order team us up. San Can you pass out the specs please" 

"Yes" San stood up and went to the back of the room and picked up several thick folders. Handing one to each member except for Mathias. 

"Dont worry Mathias I already sent the specs to your handheld" San said as he passed Mathias. 

It was an ease to his mind that this group of people that the Order placed him with understood his weird ways. But since they were idols they understood how having things handed to you can cause anxiety, They also understood being trapped in your own head space. Which should have made Mathias happy but it just weirded him out. 

"Alright So it looks like there has been some uptake in spiritual contamination which is what the Order has discovered was the start of the Fall. They have given us the mission to find the source of if and if at all possible contain it." San stated all this without looking at the information.

Naturally he would know it all he was the one that prepared it. Smiling at himself Mathias leans back against the wall folding his arms and listening to the meeting. Towards the end of the meeting it was decided that the SKZ and A2Z were going to be living together at the base. 

There was a slight disagreement with the sleeping arrangements but Bangchang and Hongjoon both put their foot down and everyone listened. The war room emptied except for Mingi and Mathias. 

"Are you going to tell me why you're sad or should I go get Hwa?"  Mingi said with a slight smile on his face. 

"Dear god no! Fine i yield I will tell you Princess just don't get too worried for me ok." Mathias said as he walked over to sit in the chair next to Mingi. 

"No promises" 

"You know that a year ago Sai was taken from me" Mathias said not looking at Mingi but down at his own hands.

 "Yes everyone here does except SKZ." Mingi leaned back in his chair ready for the unloading of information that he knew that Mathais only did with him. 

“Well for a Pure when we connect with someone it's more than what you humans do. It's deeper than what your race calls a soul mate. Anyways Sai was mine, I went centuries without having one then the Order dragged me to their headquarters and that is when I found my bonded one is the only way I can describe it to you."

 Gripping his hands so tight that the sound of bones popping could be heard. Leaning over Mingi touches Mathias's hands. 

"Did he return already? '' Mingi asked softly. 

Looking up in shock at Mingi all Mathias could do was shake his head.

"Mingi I am not sure if he has returned or not but I went nearly a year without memories of him or hearing his voice and now all I see is his shadows on people. Their actions, words." 

Pulling his hands out from under Mingi's he covers his face to hide the fact that his eyes were red from holding back the tears that if he shed in front of the others then they would know the truth that he has been hiding for nearly 5 thousands years.

 "You don't need to hide your blood tears from me," Mingi said with a soft smile in his voice. "I have seen you cry in your sleep remember" 

Nodding Mathias uncovers his face as trails of blood from his eyes over  his cheek bones and nearing his chin.

"Here" a deep soft voice said, holding out a black tissue. 

Jumping up from his chair and covering his face "What the Hell are you doing here? '' Mathias choked out. 

Mingi standing between Mathais and Felix. "Felix, please tell no one what you saw. I only know because I have helped Mathias through some stuff and he has helped me."

 Looking down "I won't say a word to anyone. I only came back in here because Hongjoon and Bangchan told me that I was rooming with Mathias." 

Having understood what the Captain and Bangchan were doing because the rest of A2Z knew what was up with Mathias and Mingi was sure that Captain clued in Bangchan. They all were trying to make Mathias feel better. 

*No one likes a moody vampire*

 Giggling at himself he turned to Mathias and said playfully "Well that means no more late night cuddles in the coffin" 

"Coffin," Felix asked, shocked. 

Mathias rolling his eyes and grabs Mingi by the back of the neck "Don't be spreading lies"

 Laughing at Mathias because he was no longer crying but blushing "Who said it was a lie your room is cold and dark like a coffin" quickly turning to Felix "don't worry Mathias has the nicest room in the whole base."

Bowing to the both of them, Mingi skipps off humming that song again. 

"Oh Mingi likes that song too. Wonder if he would sing it with me one day when we are not busy" Felix started watching the door close after Mingi left. 

Slowly turning around to face Mathias. "Here you might want to clean your face before you leave or people will notice." 

Handing the black tissue again towards Mathais. "Thanks..You know that song that Mingi is humming?"

"Oh yes, nearly all kpop idols know that song. It's called Euphoria by Master Jong Kook." Looking up at Mathias he saw the tears start to form again. 

"OI OI OI" Shaking his head, Mathias looked at Felix and realized that the last sentence was spoken in English. 

"Wait, you can speak English?" 

Letting out a warm and bright deep laugh that fit him somehow even though he was small Felix nodded "Yes I am Australian" 

At that statement Mathias's knees gave out on him. Looking up at the small aussie with the deep voice his vision started to blur and all he saw was his Isaiah. 

THUD!!

Freaking out seeing such a large male fall to the floor like that Felix rushes out of the war room looking for any member of the group formally known as Ateez.  Rounding the corner Felix runs head first into Yun-ho. 

"Thank god it's one of you. Mathias.." pointing back in the direction of the war room "He's on the ground" 

Unsure of what happened Yun-ho moves past Felix “Go get the Captain and Mingi" Yun-ho runs back down the hall to the war room. 

Upon entering the room he spotted the large figure of Mathias on the ground. Moving  quickly  over to him Yun-ho cleans up his face, not many knew that he cried tears of blood. The only reason why Yun-ho knew was because Mingi told him after a bad night for Mathais. Yun-Ho knew that Mathias would like to keep it under wraps that he cried blood tears.

 "Hey Mathias, wake up." lightly smacking the males cheek to see if that would wake him up. 

Nothing was happening so he checked to see if there were any wounds that the male was hiding from the team or any injuries from when he fell. Thankfully there were no new injuries or wounds, just the one on his chest on his left peck that has not seemed to want to heal for the past year. 

The war room door flies open and Hongjoong comes running in. Right on his heels was Mingi, Felix and Bangchan. Naturally the two leaders would be together. 

"Yun-ho any damage. What happened? '' Hongjoong asked as he knelt down by Mathias's head.

 "I am not sure what happened you would need to ask Felix, No new injuries." 

At that everyone looked at Felix 

"Lix what happened" Bangchan asked in a soft worried voice, to Felix as he touched his shoulder. 

"I-I-I don't know exactly, He asked me the song that Mingi was humming and and responded in english after that he asked me if I knew english and I told him that I was Australian"

"Shit" spat Hongjoong "Yun-Ho do you think you can take Mathias back to his room or should i send Changbin?"

     "No I got this Cap, I think for now stuff like this with Mathias should be kept between A2Z for now until we get all the details."  

Yun-ho bending down and lifting Mathias "Damn he got heavy! I am telling him to go on a diet when he wakes up" 

They all laugh slightly as they watch Yun-ho carry Mathais out of the room. Mingi bows to everyone and follows. 

Hongjoong and Bangchan both turn their attention to Felix. "Ok now how much do you know about Mathias or any Pure. Channie said that you read a lot so you must have stumbled across some stuff during your studies" 

Hong Joon motions for everyone to sit back down at the table. Sitting at the table with his hands in his lap and looking down. Felix said that one piece of information that always stood out to him when he read up on the vampires.  

"I know that Pure vampires bond with people in different ways than humans do and that they can recall the ones that they are bound to if they are taken suddenly kinda like a reincarnation but not. Like the soul of someone who is very similar to the bonded one gets an upgrade, it's still their soul but it's more." Shocked by how much he was talking he suddenly stopped and kept his eyes down.

"You are correct Felix. Last year Mathias's bonded one was taken from him suddenly and honestly if I had not met you first before I met Isaiah I would have thought you were Isaiah. You two are very similar not in just looks but just about everything. Except you can cook" 

Felix looked up at that statement with confusion on his face. "Mathias is over 5 thousand years old and his bound one just was taken. Was it an other Pure" 

"No, it was not another Pure. Mathias is the last of his kind. The one that he was bound to was an Australian by the name of Isaiah Keefe." Clearing his throat Hongjoon put his hands on the table and spread his fingers wide.

 "They met at HQ for the Order and that was 5 years ago. Isaiah was taken by a Morph." The silence in the room was thick and heavy. 

"Felix that is the whole reason why I said that I would rather call You know who to take your place instead of you coming here." Bangchan said, touching Felix's leg to comfort the male. 

"Joonie already told me this whole thing when it was confirmed by the Order that we were to work together." Letting out a soft sigh 

"I would rather work with Woojin again to see you go through something like this. You are not obligated to do anything but after how you looked at him I made the choice to have you room with him to not only see if this could heal your heart but his as well. Mathais is an asset to the Order and One of the few people that could fix what happened."

 Looking at Bangchan "What do you mean by fix. Was it not supernatural creatures that caused the downfall of humanity?" Looking confused back and forth between the two leaders. 

"Yes it was but how are supernatural creatures brought forth to this world Felix?" At that Hwa walked into the room and stood behind Hongjoong placing a hand on his shoulder and leaning down whispering something in his ear. Hongjoon nodded and stood up. 

"Felix no more beating around the bush. To gain more power over the world JYP was greedy along with SM and YG and they came together and summoned all the supernatural creatures that we are dealing with today. This was just confirmed by Hwa who has been incontact with the Masters at HQ”

"then how is it that only Kpop idols are the only ones that can destroy what was summoned forth if it was kpop that summoned it?" Felix asked in pure confusion. 

"Easy, they were tricked by the creator of the Order, Hybe. Hybe along with the smaller companies came together and created the summoning circle. There was a rule in the summoning circle that only those that have had the training can defeat the creatures summoned forth." 

Walking to the door of the war room. "Mathias is the only one that can take down JYP, SM and YG. But because the world already knew about vampires they took it a step more and created Morphs. Which caused harm to regular humans without the training that we all did. Even the younger trainees where at risk." Hongjoong stops at the door of the war room and leans against it.

 Bangchan looked back at Felix, Hwa and Hongjoong. "You don't have to stay Lix, I can still call Woojin ''

 Felix smirked. "You would rather eat shit than work with him again. I am staying" 

-clap- 

"Good now that is settled, I will have Mingi show you to Mathias's room, Dinner will be in about 30 mins" Hwa said smiling at Felix.

 Mingi entered the war room, eyes red and puffy. He had been crying and everyone in the war room knew why except for Felix. 

"Mingi, you know he will scold you for crying over him. Take Felix to Mathias's room and then go back to your own and put a cold washcloth on your eyes" Mingi nodded and bowed, holding the door open for Felix. 

Walking down the halls and down some stairs Felix finally got the courage to ask Mingi 

" umm...what exactly are you to Mathias?" 

Smiling brightly "I am not all that sure sometimes. I do know that I remind him of his sister so he is very kind to me. Also he saved me last year from becoming a Morph...that is..." Mingi trailed off and stopped walking and looked at Felix. "You do look alot like Isaiah" 

"Did everyone here know him?" Felix asked while playing with the seam in his sleeve. 

"Yes everyone here in A2Z knew Isaiah. They were both stationed here at the same time. Isaiah was a giant kpop fan that is why he was stationed with Mathais who knows nothing about kpop." Laughing slightly, Mingi motions for them to move on. Nodding in agreement they continued down a hall and stopped in front of a door that was shaped like a coffin. 

Laughing Felix pointed at the door. "I see what you meant by sleeping in a coffin." 

Mingi smiles and knocks on the door before opening it. "This way. I am sure that Mathias has passed out." 

"Why did he pass out?" Felix whispered to Mingi as they entered the room. 

"Well from what I understand, when a bonded one returns it can cause a lot of 'issues' for the other one that was left alive if they return in a short span of time. He is a vampire and it takes him longer to get over emotional stuff." Mingi moves to one side to let Felix step past him. 

Mathias was indeed still passed out but Yun-Ho, knowing how the male slept, had taken off his boots and his shirt. Felix seeing this his ears start to go red and he quickly turns around standing face to chest with Mingi. 

"I thought you would be used to seeing that, I mean Channie walks around without a top all the time." Mingi steps aside and tosses a light blanket over Mathias's chest. "all clear now"

"Channie is different, he is like my brother. Mathias is someone that I have never met before....Why does he have a wound on his chest?" 

Mingi, completely forgetting about that particular wound, smiled sadly. "He tried to join his bonded one. It failed and now it wont heal. We don't know why, nor does he. Nothing that the Order has found explains why it's not healing." Shaking his head, Mingi points to the other bed in the room. "That one is yours. The order will be sending all of your things within the next few days. If you need anything beforehand please ask Mathais or any one of the A2Z crew." Stepping around Felix Mingi leaves the room. 

Felix sits on the bed and looks around the room, there where a lot of old tech, new tech and even tech that he was sure was alien. Folding his hands in his lap he looks over at Mathias who had not moved at all. 

*hmm isaiah keefe I wonder if it's the same one that...no i was told he died several years ago not last year.*

-flashback-

Jogging to the office door looking down at his watch "perfect right in time" stopping at the office door Mathias ties back his hair to look more presentable to the Higher ups. “Hey there Mathias" A soft angelic voice spoke behind him. looking behind him and smiling he turns completely around and bows slightly  "Master Jimin and Master Zi. Are you here to witness the name giving and the licenses?"Jimin, a small male by nature, had the face that god himself sculpted, smiled warmly causing his eyes to sparkle. "Kinda, We also want to suggest a new name for you when you're out in the field."

"Yeah we were thinking about the name of 'Tiny Tim''' Zi said smiling and stepping out of Mathais's reach just in case he did not get the joke. "Right , I will be Tiny Tim working with ‘Angel’  and ‘Edward’ . Speaking of I know why they gave Master Jimin his name but why did you get the name Edward." Mathais asked honestly, looking between the two smallest members of the Order.

Even though Jimin was small he was adept to Martial arts and as for Zi his glare could make anyone forfeit. Mathais knew for sure that those two males may be small but they scared him more so than the creatures he hunted.

Zi turned his head to the side so that everyone knew he was uncomfortable with the subject "It's in reference to my attitude" Zi's ears started to glow a bright red. "Don't lie Woozi, You got the name Edward because you hate it when people call you short and you would rather drink a coke zero than your Milk." Hearing that description it took Mathias all his might to not burst out laughing.

*Zi's name is from the anime FullMetal Alchemist, He is a real life Edward Elric.* 

Without running the words by his brain first Mathais asked "Ok so who is Alphonse?" Zi slowly turned his glare towards Mathais when his eyes landed on the small blond who was in the same height line as Jimin or even himself. "Saved by your friend" motioning towards the small blond male rushing up to the office door. "Sorry I am late Mathias''

Tripping on his own feet trying to stop himself before running into anyone important Isaiah found himself falling. Closing his eyes so he would not have to face the embarrassment He realized that he had stopped falling. Opening up his eyes he was looking into Mathias's Unique colored eyes. "Thanks” Hiding a smirk Mathias gets Isaiah standing up right. 

"We better go in Sai, I hear the Higher ups don't like tardiness" Both Mathais and Isaiah bow formally to Jimin and Zi as they enter the Chamber of the Higher ups through a different door that only lets Masters or higher enter.

Facing their own door in perfect sync, they knocked 7 times before bowing. "It is I, One who has chosen the path of an idol to come out weilding a sword. Here to receive my name and the permission to hunt all those that dare do harm." Both males' voices were so low that the door frame actually vibrated when they spoke in unison as they did. The door opened wide, they both looked up and stood tall before taking a step into a solid white room brightly lit. 

-back to present-

Groaning while sitting up, Mathais had not opened his eyes. Swinging his legs off his bed placing his elbows on his knees and resting his head in the palms of his hands. "Why do I feel like my face planted into the floor?" Moving his head back and forth in his palms to rub what little pain was left away he finally opens his eyes and spots the one called Felix sitting on the spare bed in his room. 

Jumping slightly when it registers in his head that the male was looking at him, he clears his throat. "how long have you been sitting there?" Felix quickly looks down at his hands that where on his knees "not long, Seong Hwa said that dinner would be ready in about 30 mins but that was 10 mins ago." Mathias stands up from his bed and stretches his arms and back glances back over to Felix. Felix's eyes seemed to be fixated on his chest area. Walking over to Felix Mathias leans down and waves his hand in front of the males face "Hello are you broken?"

Shaking his head Felix quickly looks down "y-y-y..." Felix takes a deep breath "shirt...please"

It was still so strange to Mathais how this culture worked. They liked the skinship which he was ok with, and they even seem to be ok with claiming each other as family even though there is not a drop of DNA connecting them. But when it comes to showing off the full chest area or walking around without a shirt they become shy. Which Mathais always thought was cute. 

"Right forgot" Smiling and getting lost in his own world again while looking for a shirt.

 *Odd how this one is more like A2Z then Sai. could be how Sai was raised fully in Australia and Felix was not.* Glancing back over his shoulder he noticed that the small male was touching his face to try and cool it down. Causing Mathais to smile He has the same reaction as San and Wooyoung do when I walk around the compound in just my basketball shorts.* 

Finding a shirt that was black with a face looking up at the sky on the back. He quickly puts it on "Covered now Felix" 

Felix looking over at the shirt "why do you have a Jonghyun Shirt? I thought those were rare." Looking over his shoulder at Felix. " I was not lying when I said that I was the Highest rank hunter. You get a Jonghyun shirt when you get the Title of Jonghyun. Or also known as the Pearl Aqua Moon." Letting out a soft sigh Mathais turns and looks at Felix. "Why are you pitching up your voice anyways?" 

Felix did not know that he had been pitching up his voice, He had done it so long in the industry that it took him months to learn to talk with his normal voice tone and then suddenly the fall happened. Felix was not ashamed of his voice at all but it was one of his group's greatest assists in the music world. Everyone still is in disbelief that his voice is so low and he can make it lower but it hurts to do so for a long time. Shaking his head and coming out of his thoughts he clears his throat. "Sorry I didn't realize I was doing that. I just know that my voice seemed to cause you some kind of pain so I guess I pitched up without thinking." glancing down at the large space that was on the floor like something had once been there but was put away. 

Tilting  his head to the side and looking at the empty space on the floor his chest started to hurt. Placing his hand on his chest and breathing through his teeth “why does it hurt" a deep yet sad voice replied "to let you know you are alive" With those words being said Felix looks up at Mathias who looked like he had seen a ghost. The pain returned again but this time tenfold. Holding back a scream of pain Felix digs his fingernails into his chest.

 "I am sorry" Mathais said while walking towards Felix. Upon reaching Felix who was folded in half at this point both hands on his chest. Mathais gently lifts the male and lays him back on his bed. "this will pass." Lightly touching Felix on the forehead "sleep now and wake anew"  Felix's eyes slowly closed and the pain that was clearly visible on his face slowly leaked away as he drifted off to sleep. Mathais sits against the wall of his room near the foot of Felix's bed when a soft knock sounds in his room from his door. "Mathias it's me"

 Standing up and opening the door and stepping out into the hallway, leaving the door open just enough he could hear if Felix woke up. Looking at Yeosang "What's wrong Sang you look a little upset. Did you and JongHo fight again?"

"No we did not fight and I am upset because I heard that He may have returned." Confused by what Yeosang said Mathias looks at him square in the eyes. "What do you mean by that?" Yeo Song was used to Mathais glare at this point in his life "It's only been 13 months Mathais. You said yourself that it could be damaging for both parties if the bonded one returns before 24 months. And if Isaiah is returning to Felix you will have a lot more trouble than just your bonded one may be broken mentally but your body might end up on  a stake somewhere in the black zone." Still confused, Mathais lifts a brow signaling Yeosang to continue.

 "Look Mathias, I know that you don't know shit when it comes to Idols and groups and stuff like that, Which in itself is a breath of fresh air. But You should at least look into who is who in the group dynamic. That way you dont wake up dead oneday." Making a letter T with his hands "Time out there Sang, stop beating around the bush and just tell me." Letting out a long breath "Felix is like the SKZ version of Mingi. He is their warmth, their sunshine, and everyone will protect him." 

Finally relizing what a shit hole he has walked into he looks at Yeonsang. "That is right stupid Your Soul Mate Picked their ray of sunshine to come and light up your dark world" Face palming so hard it echoed in the hall way "I am so fucked"

Laughing slightly Yeosang kicks his foot against the wall looking down “You definitely are in a world of hurt if the other members find out about what you do in your spare time.” Mathias looking at Yeosang “Are you sure that you and Jongho are not fighting? The only time I see you apart from each other is when the Cap has gotten tired of the shenanigans and sends you on different missions.”  

“For the last time We are not fighting” Yeosang said seriously, eyeing the door shaped like a coffin. “Right then why is your shirt on backwards?” Matthias stated as he pushed open the door a little bit more. 

Scrambling to fix his shirt, Yeosang stares daggers at Mathias “My dressing habits have nothing to do with JongHo.” Moving to walk past Mathais He let out a slight huff. Matthias puts his arm out grabbing Yeosang by the waist “Leaving so soon” Turning a light shade of pink that went well with his dark gray eyes, which Mathais knew to be the colored contacts that they were all so used to wearing. “Yes, dinner will be ready soon” Matthias pulled Yeosang closer and growling in his ear. “But I am hungry now”

Playfully smacking Mathais arm “Stop teasing, Anyways your bonded one is in the next room. Wouldn't that be cheating” Letting go of Yeosang Mathais leans against the doorway “No it would not, You see Sai and I never did anything like that and also I am not going to force Felix if he doesn't want anything to do with me then I will figure out a way to cut the bond completely” 

Letting go of Yeosangs waist and moving towards his door he closes his eyes and leans his head against the door frame trying to calm down his hunger. A light hand reaches up and touches Mathias’s cheek. “You said that severing the bond completely would kill the more dominant party, Why risk that?” Yeosang said softly, looking up at Mathias. “Simple Sang, I am not going to force anyone to do anything that they dont want and if Felix feels like he does not want to be bound to me then so be it.” 

    Opening his eyes Mathais looks down at Yeosang and leans slightly into his hand on his cheek. “I am very hungry” Mathais typically ice blue eyes flashed pure white then back to the ice blue that everyone was jealous of. Lost in his own thoughts, Yeosang did not notice that Mathais was no longer leaning against the door frame but had his hands on his waist again and was slowly moving him down the hall to an empty room. 

    Pushing Yeosang into the room was simple, None of the members could really put up a fight against him, well the ones that he has had at least, Cap and Hwa were the only ones that he has not had but he respected their marriage. 

    Closing the door behind both of them he spun Yeosang around so his back was against his chest. Holding him against himself by the waist Mathais growls slightly. Leaning his head down he lightly brushes his lips against the softest part of Yeosangs neck. “Mathais are you sure that you would want” Opening his mouth Mathais kissed the neck numbing the skin before he bit down and started to take his fill of blood. 

    Trembling in Mathais’s arms it took all the willpower Yeosang had not to let out a yip of pain when he bit down. They all had an unspoken agreement to help sustain Mathais in the blood department.

 After the first time they had all been taken they secretly came together to asked each other the same question “was it sexual for you” Following that meeting all of the members of A2Z that where in a relationship had to go back to their rooms and discuss the future. Yun-Ho and Mingi seemed to be fine with it because Mathais only drank from Mingi. Wooyoung and San on the other hand thought it was great fun and asked Mathais if they could make it a group activity. Yun-ho, Yeosang, and JongHo were the only members of the team that Mathais would take privately. 

    Feeling his knees become weak from the endorphins rushing through his body he just lets them go knowing that Mathais had a good strong grip around his waist to keep him from falling. A few moments later Mathais pulls back from Yeosang’s neck, licking the wound closed, resting his head on the males shoulder as he tries to calm his breathing. “Are you sure you are still ok with this?” Mathais asked. He asked it to everyone every single time. Unable to talk, Yeosang just nods his head, also trying to catch his breath. 

    Not really wanting to move any further away from the door, Mathais turns both Himself and Yeosang around and presses Yeosang against the door with his own body. Lightly brushing his lips across Yeosangs neck simultaneously running his left hand up Yeosangs shirt feeling the hard muscles from years of dancing and training. Yeosang gasping for breath and letting out small shudders of excitement. Mathais continues to move his hands up Yeosangs body while his other hand moves downwards to 

“Yeosang, I have told you that if you keep wearing pants that you care about I am not going to pay you back for them”  The skin tight jeans where a style that Yeosang did like and typically wore on his day off because he could not fight in that tight of pants, Mathais has ruined at least 8 pairs of his skinny jeans.  “I know but they make my butt look good” Stopping to let out a small laugh Mathais ripped the pants off of Yeosang. Growling once more Mathais let go of Yeosang completely to release himself from his own pants. 

-flashback-

Matthias and Isaiaha enter the white room and stand in the middle.  Three men sat in the middle of the room. These men were the ones that ran the entire show. Master Taemin of Shinee sat on the left of the middle. Master Dragon sat on the right of the middle. The man in the middle was Master Rain. Formally bowing in front of the masters Mathais and Isaiaha remain silent

“No need for formalities” Master Rain said while smiling down at the new hunters.

Standing up, the two men looked up at all that had assembled. Matthias and Isaiah were the two members of the order that everyone had looked forward to getting a hunting license. 

    Whispering so softly that only Matthias could hear it “I cant believe that these 3 are the ones that Hybe picked to be incharge. I thought that it would be their own artist”

    Matthias looking down at Isaiah “what is the big deal they are all idols right”

    “Wrong. If i remember Master Taemin and Master Dragon are from the same company and Master Rain made his own company” 

    “Ok and what is the big deal”

A small voice that sounded like silk “If you two are done talking we can continue with this ceremony”

    Bowing formally they both apologies. “Sorry Master Taemin”

    Smiling and looking around at all the former idols. Master Rain starts “Is there anyone here that objects to these two becoming official hunters?”

    “I do” 

    “The Order recognizes Master Psy. Please explain why”

    Master Psy stands from his seat. He was an older man near Master Rain's age. “I do not accept these two for the fact that they have never done the Idol training that the rest of the Hunters have done. What makes them qualified to Hunt the Morphs?”

    Master Dragon stands and looks down at the two possible hunters “Yes. Up to this point all the hunters have been formal Idols that have debuted. But Mathais here is the only Pure left on earth. As for Isaiah he may not be an idol but he is very smart and can help out. The order has found out that having a non idol in a hunters group helps with the planning. Also to mention the pairing of these two have resulted in the highest scores that has been seen in the Order since it was founded.”

    Mathis and Isaiah both bow after Master Dragons explanation.

    “Thank you Master Dragon. After that explanation does anyone object?”

    Master Psy sits down folding his hands in front of him. He had lost his own hunters to the Morphs and he worried about any new Hunters since the Morphs seem to be stronger than they originally thought. Looking around seeing no one objecting. 

    “Great, Now it's time for suggestions for Code names. Anyone have any suggestions?”

At that statement Angel and Edward stand up. Looking at each other they nod. 

    “We would like to propose the name “Ancient” for Mathias”

    Rolling his eyes Mathais knew that they were going to poke fun at his age. It seemed like those of that particular race made fun of those who were older and wiser. 

    Laughing slightly “Master Jimin and Master Zi Thank you for that suggestion, but BangPD has stated that for Mathais he shall not get a code name since his name is so old and unique to this area of the world”

    Pouting Master Jimin folds his arms and pops out his hip slightly. 

    “That is Master Jimin's sassy pose” Isaiah whispered to Mathias. “I heard other hunters say that he only does that pose when he is upset or not getting his way”

    “I suggest for Hunter Isaiah that his code name be “google” or even “Alexa” the reasoning behind this suggestion is clear. You can ask that boy anything and he has the answer. And if he does not have the answer he will search the earth to find the answer” Master Zi stated with no hesitation at all. 

    Mathais let out a low chuckle. The rest of the Masters followed suit.

    “All in favor of Hunter Isaiah Keefe getting the code name “Google” say Aye” 

    The whole room rang out in perfect harmony of “AYE” 

    Blushing slightly, Isaiah did a formal bow to the Masters of the room “Thank you for the grace of a code name and the honor of being a Hunter for the Order.”
