What if Mr.Scammer successfully possessed User's (Bria) body?

Yeah so, this is a roleplay I did with my friend and this is a what if I've been thinking about. My friend showed me what would happen to the User (Bria/me) if she didn't reset in time. I wanna know what would happen to Mr.Scammer? Since he took control of User's body. And I came up with this.

Oh and btw hi! Another post! Totally did not forget to post smt! Heh, lol, yea. I wanna post art before the end of this month. I got hit by artblock sooo ye. Less arts. But don't worry. I got some art to share!

All those redraws with the gradual appearance changes, plus the ideas that resulted did get me thinking of how to expand upon that. Plus I had this additional idea that–regardless of its a 'ghosts that keep their human form' au or 'fully human but trapped in servitude' au–there's a bit of a glamour failure and Scratch's face looks a tad closer to his canon appearance in the dark.

Also, no matter what changes, the unibrow stays. Because a certain someone would be very unhappy about it going away. (That plus those are Pete's tweezers, and... ah... I think some of you might recall how those were used in the posessed doll episode.)

If this was a human au/the ghosts looked human then yes, that's pretty much what happened.

Scratch would STILL have ghostly powers to an extent (it's a given if he were a ghost, but there's also a reason for it if he IS fully human, just like the others who ended up working for the Chairman) but he couldn't kick the family out of the house, and that was one of the conditions for having to co-exist with them. Because honestly? No one could handle living with someone smelling like trash, and he'd have to feel Sharon's wrath from day one.

However, Scratch would still put minimum effort into his appearance and STILL dumpster dive like in canon, though partly out of spite toward the family and Molly.

However, the reason why I marked 'Friend off' as to when Scratch starts putting more care into his appearance and ditches the five o clock shadow? Because Libby (who doesn't HAVE to put up with him like the McGees) crticizes him about it during the time they don't get along. And it probably comes off a bit harsher than she intended out of jealousy. Not only that, but there's that realization of 'Oh I actually COULD lose this girl I befriended to someone way better than I could ever be' as well as starting to care about how others see him, but especially how Molly is seeing him. Like 'what if she actually just puts up with how I look because she has no choice, and what if she doesn't actually LIKE how I am. Would she NOT want to be seen with me if I look the way I do now?' (And you could argue this could be him finally fighting the poor choices he made toward his personal health before he... well... became the Scratch in 'The Curse.')

So it'd be a bit of a shock when he no longer has the five o clock all the time, but there'd be slow subtle changes, like his posture and how he maintains his clothing. He'd be more on top of not smelling like he was trying to fight a raccoon for rotten pizza in the bin downtown. Though he's still got a ways to go before he can complete the external transformation.

(Also, I don't think Molly would care too much about how he looks as long as he is happy with himself, but better hygeine WOULD make a huge difference.)

My redraws involving a disheveled Scratch with stubble was an unexpected hit, so I went back to redraw some shots from the first episode. And it amused me that part of the reactions were 'if this was an au' and 'Molly adopts random homeless man found in the house.'

Then, for my second set of drawings, I got a bunch of good recommendations from @candyheartedchy (The bottom left one in the second set was pretty hilarious to do, and I could NOT resist dressing him like a model for it.)

So when I did this round of screenshot redraws, I suddenly had the idea of 'If the ghosts kept a human form/this was a human au, then what if Scratch's appearance reflected his season 1 character arc?'

'The curse'- A complete and utter slob who dumpster dives and gives off homeless vibes. Does not take care of himself, smells awful, and has the pale skin tone. You'd get why everyone else wouldn't be around this guy.

'First Day Frights' to 'Friend off'- Is able to get cleaned up and take care of himself now that he's forced to live with the McGees, but still puts in minimum effort into his appearance. He's still a huge jerk during this time period, so he still has dark bags/eyelids to reflect that.

'Festival of Lights' to 'Out of house and home'- Now that he's starting to value the new people in his life, he's putting more effort into himself and the perma-stubble is now gone. But because it's winter/early spring he still looks pale and has dark eyelids. (Looks closer to his soulless look.)

'Home is where the Haunt is' and onward-After taking care of his health a bit more, along with gaining a healthier skin tone thanks to exposure to the sun, his current look now reflects his happier, kinder mental state. (Though he'd probably look disheveled for a chunk of HiwtHi and might get the stubble on a few especially lazy occasions.)

Bonus Scratch and ghost council-the first drawing I did (wasn't sure what else to draw before I did these), thanks to a screenshot someone took on Mollycord. Wanted to draw a hint of what the GC's casual attire would look like.

I just realised. Scratch left the McGees by not just resuming his human life, but restarting it with a brand new perspective. There was a way to hit restart all along.

Yeah, I wasn't going to leave you guys hanging forever. Or give this the bittersweet ending I originally planned after giving things some thought.

Now as for THAT character... yup I had this planned once I hit the idea. Out of all the characters I could have used as the Granmamare stand-in, it had to be her. (She was hiding in plain sight in a few past drawings this whole time.)

Me and my friend were playing Specter on roblox.

I kept on dying trying to protect bro from the ghost and accidentally die because I didn't notice the ghost one time.

It was so funny that I had to make a drawing of it because why not lmao.

I should remind myself to make a drawing for other games we played.

Mollycord was asking me where Sharkie was in this AU... so I came up with something.

For understandable reasons, I think Scratch would be a bit uneasy toward Sharkie. But I think he'd have a better appreciation of the creature at a later point.

For an expanded explanation/what wasn't shown–Sharkie was captured and placed in an aquarium at the boardwalk the Davenports own. Molly and Scratch also might have gotten a bit of help from the other kids in 'operation free Sharkie.'

Wanted to continue the au, since I had nothing else to do.

And this will be continued next time... though I admit, I didn't originally intend for this to veer this close into 'the source material that inspired Ponyo.' But that's what happens when you add an obstacle/antagonist.

I said I’d take a break from this au but then @emi0919 asked about how Scratch would first react to being human and him trying to walk with legs. And it was one of those asks where I felt compelled to draw something in response, in addition to answering that question.

I think Scratch would freak out at first after it settles in that he was able to turn into a human. He’s got all these extra appendages, a larger (clumsier) body that’s harder to move around, a face that’s new and not quite new all at once, and actual vocal chords among things. He’d also be the type who wouldn’t be entirely satisfied with his human appearance at first (because the few times he bothered to imagine such a thing, it was never with THAT look in mind.)

But once the focus shifts towards trying to convince Molly who he is, and she’s able to reassure him/calm him down, I think he’d ease up on his concerns and realizes that this form means he’s no longer limited to the tank or bucket if he wants to experience the human world. He finally has a freedom he could only imagine, and not only can he finally talk to Molly and the others, but he can even give her proper hugs with his human arms (that small fins barely could).

As for trying to walk, it goes as what you might expect. He really couldn’t get himself up and move around properly, and everyone assumed it was him being some guy in shock before they realized who he was. It took Molly and anyone else willing to help out almost a whole day to help Scratch learn to walk and move on his own. Of course, it came with falling over and nearly breaking a nose in the process.

(Side note-at this point, I don't mind getting asks. I just need to take a break from drawing out the main storyline for a bit.)

I have this realization that I don't really have much of a role for Geoff (and Jeff by extension) in the Blobfish au. Partly because I don't want to make all the ghost characters blobfish, but I don't know what kind of creature, and I'm nearing the endgame material to figure out a way to fit them in. For Geoff, I was even considering either a dolphin or a elphant seal, otherwise I would need a fish that just screams him.

Or he could just be like a Scuttle-type character/some kind of sea bird creature, which would fit him, come to think of it.

Same with others like the council. Don't know how I could use them. There's only one ghost character that I could put to good use as a sea creature... someone that hasn't properly shown up yet.

But I could see Geoff being this annoying sea creature to Scratch and maybe pull some verson of 'Under the Sea' just because, and panic when Molly takes Scratch. And then be in complete shock when he finds out what Scratch accomplishes later.
