Here’s all of my quick Dragon Age postcards together! I’ll be taking a break from this project but definitely not forever. The idea of fictional destination posters is ingrained into my soul ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
As always, prints are available on RB and Inprnt through my linktree.

It's a day late, but the Halloween dinosaur sticker set is finished and up on Redbubble!
I've got a candy corn stegosaurus, a vampire raptor and a ghost raptor, a parasaurolophus witch, a reanimated dead triceratops, and a ceratopsian with markings that look like a jack-o-lantern. It's not wearing makeup, it just looks like that, like those fancy breeds of pet snakes. The ankylosaurus just looks like a regular one, but it's actually a were-ankylosaurus on a night with a full moon, and is a different kind of dinosaur the rest of the time. The skeleton is a quetzalcoatlus skeleton, because it was a pterosaur the size of a small airplane, which makes it the most terrifying skeleton.
I also plan to draw backgrounds for some of them and add them as individual prints, but I'm not sure when that'll be finished.

Rockin’, thanks for the additions.
SWTOR, spoilers for Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Republic quests, Shadow of Revan intro flashpoints, and Ilum quests.
I’m looking for the membership list of the Jedi Council after a LS Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular finish Act 3 and before the events of Ilum transpire.
I have:
Satele Shan
Bela Kiwiiks
[Nikil Nobil does not appear in game]
[Wens Aleusis does not appear in game]
Oric Traless [only appears in the invasion of Tython]
Jaric Kaedan
Barsen’thor
Tol Braga [do we get to keep him?]
Syo Bakarn [do we get to keep him?]
[Gnost-Dural does not appear in game?]
Anything I missed?

FF.net
3318. 40% of the way through serialephemera, which is by far the biggest factor in this (1594 story&WIP posts and I’m in early 2018). I hate myself. I hate my characters. I hate SWTOR, Dragon Age, Pillars of Eternity, Planescape: Torment, Draconis, Ettael, Tony, Matthew, Ash...I hate the English language. I hate planet Earth.
The exercise remains oddly soothing in small amounts. It’s better than writing more shit.
I’ve failed my accountability post on day 1 and I’m resigned to that.
Operation: Noble Focus (wait, that’s taken and it was bad)
Operation: Alexandria, my crazy shower thought about indexing my online fiction.
So far I have 2,500 story posts indexed from previous files. Next up is about 120 stories from AO3. Then it gets deeper. Darker. The past seven years of Tumblr posts. Three side blogs. Two Reddit accounts’ posts.
Operation: Alexandria has already succeeded in patching together the old indices. Now if only I had something more recent than 2016…

Fanfic Guessing Game - Air
(Can't seem to send in an ask to serialephemera so I'll chuck one here for you <3)
Believe it or not, this story has only one instance of "air" that hasn't been posted yet.
The night was fine, the air still, the crickets staying at a discreet distance.
Thanks, crickets!

I’m not saying that my primary WoW experience was longing for the sweet release of death, but there were times it would’ve been handy.

This is the most brilliant fanfic I have read this year, and I am not exaggerating in the least.

Is it possible to “promote” one of my Tumblr sideblogs to be my main blog? I want all the settings and followers of Main Blog to remain the settings and followers of Main Blog, and I want the settings and followers of Side Blog to remain the settings and followers of Side Blog...only, all the notifications and stuff that only happen to Main Blog on my dash would instead happen with Side Blog on my dash.
Does that make sense? And can I switch blogs like that?

Re: reading
I don’t know what to do.
I’m skimming through a number of volumes of poetry and finding that I like the poems I liked fifteen years ago and I feel neutral about poems I didn’t know fifteen years ago.
I like my comfort food. I intend to go on liking my comfort food. But why is everything else leaving me cold? Should I keep racing through poetry in the hopes that the right stuff will coincide with the right mood? Or can I put myself in a more receptive mood for locating new favorites?
To be honest I’m a careless reader. I’ll settle down in any old mood and slosh through the emotional import. Apparently this is not enough to get benefit from poetry.
The poems I like key me up like nothing else in this life. Dickinson, Millay, von Radics, I cherish them. I would very much like to add to this collection. I’m beginning to think that doing so requires more work than I usually put in as a reader.
In related news, I adore T.S. Eliot’s Preludes but Prufrock is neutral.
I am moved by fancies that are curled Around these images, and cling: The notion of some infinitely gentle Infinitely suffering thing.

deks-dm replied to your post: I have resumed Pillars of Eternity and I’m...
The first Pillars game is dense, and a bit of a slog, and the success came from love of the characters/writing. Pillars 2 is waaay more engaging and has a lot more option on how to tackle goals (I.e a keep you murder and cheese grab through….or sneak through and find a robe in the owners closet and convince the very dumb imps on guard duty that you’re their boss, or go I to the bathhouse and blow up a wall to break in through the basement, etc)
I was told to play PoE 1 specifically to get to PoE 2. I think I'm better off looking up which dungeons are optional and just not doing them, because ye gods, Raedric's place was so awful I just gave up and backtracked to the main plot. I am eagerly looking forward to some actual conversations.

My savegame is named “tedium.”
I know why nobody’s killed this madman yet. They got sick of his stupid house and went to find something fun to do.
Also I’m pretty sure Durance actually walks up and rubs his face on the enemy during every pull. Eder my “tank” thinks it’s funnier not to stop him.
I have resumed Pillars of Eternity and I’m currently in a very boring dungeon called Raedric’s Keep. I’m on the third story of ~12 rooms per floor, not including the ones I can’t open, and so far the interaction is 1) kill guards and 2) steal cheese. Which, admittedly, I usually love. I feel like I am supposed to have recruited a rogue by now, because man, there are a lot of locked things and not a lot of lockpicks available.
I don’t see how to skip this sequence; my actual destination is still grayed out on the map.
I’m waiting to get excited by the lore. The first big plot dump, at the hanging tree, was very satisfying - the voice actress was fantastic - and everything before and since has been pretty meh. I do hope my companions start talking to me soon.

I finished Angel Fire East, which featured some of my favorite literary villains opposite one weirdly passive hero and one actual hero plus hangers-on. I like the entire Word and the Void trilogy, but I really like this finale.
Then I read The Phantom of the Opera, the original novel, which is structured as a true-crime reconstruction interpersed with the conversations that must have happened at the time. I liked the Phantom when I was Christine’s age. Now I’m rather closer to the managers’. The very fact of this assembly of accounts and evidence makes a direct adaptation unlikely. Movies or musical require a different narrative style. I think Andrew Lloyd Webber did a great job of showcasing the talent without excusing the horror in his musical.
