From Spain, we boarded a cruise from Tarifa to Tangier to arrive in Morocco!

From Tangier, we had a hard time finding a taxi driver that would take us to Chefchouen aka The Blue City since it is a 2-3 hour drive away. When we found a taxi driver willing to take us to the Blue city, I remember having a hard time in exchanging notes because the money exchange centers we found didn’t accept notes with stamps on it. Whew! So to anyone who’s reading this, take note! After sorting things out aka Anna finding enough euros w/o stamps on it, we finally embarked on this 3 hour taxi ride (w/o AC while it was 45 degrees out) to Chefchouen! The first leg of our Moroccan trip! 

We had to walk going to the Blue City because the road was also blocked that time and cars were not allowed to enter the obstructed roads. We had to carry our small luggages around town because we struggled in finding our hotel WHEW! kapagod! But, it’s all good! We are all lucky to be here!

Some memories from Saigon. Met up with Vi, a friend of mine from college. She toured us all over her favourite  gastronomic hotspots in the city. She was so kind to accompany during our 2-day trip to her hometown.

Spent most of our weeklong Vietnam trip in Hoi An, Da Nang! Anna, Cor, Migs and I went to see the My Son Sanctuary, Marble Mountains and the UNESCO site Hoi An Old Town. Despite the extremely hot and humid weather, we were able to see these sites. Ang init nga lang kaya nakakapagod talaga that’s why we always hydrated ourselves with water (and coke) 😂.

Anna and I also got tailor-made clothes by an Auntie in the old town proper. It costs around P1,400 for a 2-piece linen top and skirt set.

I really enjoyed biking around Hoi An (kahit ang bilis ng mga kasama ko magbike) and eating lots of veggies lol. Although I have to admit, most of us had a grumbling stomach throughout the trip because of the Vietnamese veggie diet. Hahaha! All is good though, really had fun with the group kahit ang random lang! 😂

My first Taiwan experience. Booked a spontaneous girls trip to Taiwan with Erica, Kate and Ina and immediately fell in love with Taiwanese cuisine after visiting the night market in Taichung. Writing about it right now makes me miss their food so much. The girls and I talked about clubbing a lot in Taipei, but since we were lazy-ass people, we never really went clubbing and we all agreed to just stay in with our face masks on almost every night, hahaha! Some highlights of this trip include the sheep in Qingjing farm, non-stop eats, nightly chats in our hotel room and meeting up with my dear Taiwanese friends who I’ve met in Ingolstadt. My first time in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan. Couldn’t have asked for better companions through this jam-packed and quite stressful (no sleep, misunderstandings, chica minute, ghost hauntings, etc.) 6-day trip. My heart will always be full whenever I’m with these people. Kanpai to a whole new chapter of our lives filled with happiness and firsts. #jsecteam
