cottage living au pt. 2 (aka “hey, we might be getting good at this”) -- we welcome baby august as the youngest member of the carmicheal-hargrove fam! charlotte continues to be Worlds Best Mom while andre keeps demetrius occupied with some tv classics and BLTs. 

diana gets to know our newest chick, salsa. demetrius, for once, joins his mom in the garden and has a GREAT time amongst her prize bluebells bushes. diana also meets her stinky new baby brother, and is.... well, unimpressed. not her fault she’s able to use the potty and he can’t! 

charlotte and andre go into town for the finchwick garden fair, and they both get favors from the mayor (though charlotte suspects her favor was actually a consolation prize given that her blueberry pie lost to the only other pie in the running.......). ah well, there’s always next time! 

finally, we have THREE age-ups, because ya girl timed it perfectly. august is a little munchkin, demetrius is a sweetie and diana is already cooler than me. oh, and charlotte cut her hair. that’s all.

cottage living au pt. 1 (aka “everything is FINE”) -- OKAY so here’s the sitch: andre and charlotte, high school sweethearts, and during their first married christmas, charlotte gets a SURPRISE. she’s the heir to a massive fortune. or at least she will be if she can make it on this plot of land with an old house that has been left to her by a deceased, distant relative. SO OFF THEY GO! 

the farm has all the amenities. plenty of garden space for lottie, big willow trees, a pond, and lots of room still for animals!!! pictured here are cow bluebell (lottie named her, don’t tease) and then-a-baby nugget. not pictured are the other chickens -- kentucky, popeye, buttercup, and apple. not long after getting their feet under him, lottie got PREGNANT with TWINS if you can believe it, who they named demitrius and diana! they’re a mcfreaking handful but they’re so stinkin cute. diana LOVES to be outside “helping” momma in the garden but demitrius just wants to stay inside and play with his dino toy 💀

despite all the chaos (and the dwindling funds, this stuff is harder than it looks), charlotte became pregnant AGAIN! lets add another baby into the mix, that’ll go great! but hey, at least she was able to put out that kitchen fire.... that she started..... trying to make scrambled eggs..... i think andre is going to be doing the cooking from now on.

allison was just thrilled about being asked to babysit penny, especially when she invited over classmate lucas without any warning. this will go well.
