I have the main structure for the trial led cube build :), now I just need to trouble shoot it and lean to work with the netduino code. Expect some cool interactive led cube light shows and possibly even some custom led vu meters in the near future!

Took my speaker apart yesterday to make sure the top tweeter was indeed blown. The voice coil is unfortunately dead, I'll be buying the replacement tweeter off ebay.com in the next few days though :)

Got my Aurycle A5500MP Tube Microphone built the other day and even got some basic recordings done during my session with Light The Sun last monday. It was great using this badboy, I'm excited to put it up against our studios tube microphones in the next few weeks when I go back to do the overdub Vocals with Chris Sabanos.

I got my new Aurycle A5500MP Vacuum Tube Kit Mic kit in the mail today. It has a 9 Polar Patterns 1-32mm/1inch dual large diaphragm capsule. I am excited to start building it in my Electronics class this Thursday and doubly excited to have a comparison shootout with our Avantone Audio CV-12, Microtech Gefell UM900, Neumann 147 and Royer R-122V to see how this DIY build sounds in comparison with some very popular and much more expensive microphones.
