Thank you so much for knowing how to word that! You absolutely get my thoughts here. I mean, I can understand their perspective, but to me, all the games are canon (except maybe Escape on occasion, haha) and I see Elaine more as her Curse and Tales design than her appearance in the first couple games. Everyone can have their own opinions about things, but they don't have to be rude about it.

I like the idea of a game revolving around Elaine! Heck, I'd happily help make one, it I had the free time (I do have the free time, I'm just tired) But for me, this one didn't hit the spot like I hoped.

...and if you want someone to pay for that grog, I can spare a few pieces of eight in thanks for you knowing how to put this for me.

A Monkey Island fan game set during the first game, centering Elaine Marley. The game is a text-based adventure made in Twine. Game chapters are interspersed by author's notes, elaborating on Monkey Island franchise and the choices made for this fan game.

This game is free and takes about an hour to complete. It is playable in browser. Note: due to being based on an old franchise, there are references to racist caricatures in this game.
