Be my leap of faith

Everyone told me it was okay to move on

And I thought I knew this myself

But I realize I never did,

until now.

Sometimes people aren’t meant to be held on to

and you can’t hold onto someone already gone

but instead use them to live on

to take the chances you couldn’t on your own

It’s okay to jump head first

into unknown waters

because this isn’t our home

it’s just a place we’re visiting

so why not make the most out of it?

why not make the most of the people in it?

why not fall for someone before you know it’s safe?

this isn’t the end,

this isn’t even the beginning

this is just a ripple in time,

a pause in the universe

a moment where we are able to be lost in ourselves,

and others.

so love who you want to love

and laugh with who makes you laugh

and take chances jumping in without fear

without hesitation

if it’s meant to be, it will work itself out

if it’s not meant to be, make sure it’s one hell of a time

How is it possible to be so hopelessly lost in someone I know so little about

We yearn for rain in the summer and for warm nights in December. Humans have an affinity towards what they can’t have, for what is not present, for what is forbidden.

What is there that poses so alluring? The more the heart is suppressed, the more its wants become pressing.

And to think..

I said I despised cuddling, Never would I kiss someone with morning breath, Spending the night was out of the question, And so was I. But then there's you. And all of a sudden, none of that mattered And to think I never thought I would like someone again, Let alone trust a complete stranger. But somehow I feel like I've known you much longer than I actually have. And you make me smile and laugh, And you share your secrets with me, And I get lost in you, Trying to take it all in. Attempting to catch my breath.

I used to feel you all around me, Your presence was in the air, Surrounding and suffocating me. But you have disappeared little by little, Slowly letting go of this world But sometimes in dead man's pose I feel you sitting next to me, As if you never left. And I'm content.

Sweet n tangy green smoothie! Here’s the recipe: 1/2 banana, handful of fresh spinach, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, 5-ish pieces of ice, 1/3-1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, and 1 orange (take out the seeds). So good and creamy! Enjoy.
