I've been reading endless analysis on season 2 and Sara in particular, and something occurred to me. Though, this might have been pointed out before.

Sara must have been jealous of Simon.

Yes, she loves him, he is her brother and stuff, but also, in her eyes, he got so much closer to what she wanted - he got to date someone upper class, even though it was in secret. It stings even more given that Simon has always hated everything there is about upper class and elite, yet, he is closer to it than she ever will be dating the actual Crown Prince.

I always remember season 1 when the video leaked, Sara never once showed a tiny bit of support for her brother. On the contrary, she was pissed at the idea of having to change schools afterwards, claiming that just because Simon ruined his life, she doesn't want to suffer and lose her new friends (upper class friends).

I mean, is that how you treat a sibling that has always cared and looked out for you?

And in season 2, she got to date a royal (sort of) which again, made her disregard Simon.

So yeah, with all the love she has for Simon, there must have been envy, too.

The thing is, I want Wilhelm to actually say the words "I have a date tonight" (with Simon, obviously). Be that a conversation with his mother who summons him to the palace for whatever reason or wants to pay him a visit, Felice or whoever it may be.

I also want him to say the words "my boyfriend" when referring to Simon.

The show is quite subtle about many things and even though it works well, I need them to be more verbally explicit this time.

With all the drama, we don't really hear or see normal dating stuff.
