SOMNIOMANCER [null.set]
In case you missed it, I recently made the theme song/boss battle music for Arknights’ new expansion, set in a dystopian Vatican-City type of world.
Their art team absolutely killed it with the release video.
It’s out now on streaming platforms.
#THE SOMNIOMANCER COMPOSER IS ON THE HELLSITE HIMSELF???#omg#this song completely sold me on playing the event#(i'm a new player and have a Variety of sidestories to unlock but yeah no I need to listen to this)#amazing track#very biblically accurate in my opinion#iamcrywolf#arknights ost#broccoli's music recs

Okay, that's the tag game I HAD to participate in (I mean I don't have a music-freak-sideblog for nothing)! Thanks for the tag mutual)
Since this is a music blog specifically, I'm indulging myself and lenghening the list to 10 songs as well. Admittedly, I have curated this list a little, but it is still very much random in nature.
Firedancer by Poets of the Fall (very neat, pretty classic rock song), Wavelength by Nathan Johnson (InFamous: Second Son OST, I think that game understood young adults like noone else... the OST is one of the big reasons that game won't leave my mind, upbeat battle song with a gorgeous violin foundation), Stand Inside Your Love by Smashing Pumpkins (smashing pumpkins in general have such a unique vibe to their rock, I adore their specific style), Starlight by Muse (not much to say here, I just love muse a lot), M4, Part 2 by Faunts (technically could count as Mass Effect OST, but it lost that meaning for me, I just love the song. the slow base buildup of the beat hooked me for the entirety of the track, and I like the melancholy aspect of its mood), Song of the Abyss by Aviators (aviators just do amazing videogame-inspired songs, and I love love love the lyrics of this one, it's like the song is the manifestation of the hero's wilpower itself, funilly enough, i kind of headcanon parts of it to be about the malev idiots), Lonely World by limp bizkit (weirdly enough, I think this is the Only song I knew of his, before ASDMC reminded me of Rollin', the upbeat melancholic honesty is wonderful in this one), Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups (no words, only headbanging, wonderful rock), From Dust to the Beyond by God Is An Astronaut (I was hooked by the name of the band and haven't regretted it for a single second ever since. this song is made specifically for meditation and relaxation, I swear, it's like a brain massage for me. banger song to ponder about space and infinity), Forget Myself by Elbow (technically Surf's Up OST song, aka the best song from the best musical animated movie of the 00s).
I don't expect anyone to listen to all ten of them, but I'll be glad if anyone liked at least a single song from this list.
Challenging you all!
Put your music library on shuffle, then list the first five songs that come up in a poll to let people vote for which one they like the most!
Then tag Tumblr friends to keep the game going!
#yo thanks for the tag)#okay this one i must participate in#this goes on the music blog cause it's about music)#and your playlist is awesome all around mutual! i liked every song out there#but liar is definitely a new fave for me#broccoli's music recs

been craving some stupid/silly alternative lately, so naturally I had to relisten to a ton of Don Broco songs.
(important note here, while lyrics can be fun, the real gem are their music videos)
I mean. Do you know another band that has a song dedicated to (and named after) Bruce Willis, or football team? If so, please share.
#i'm enjoying manchester super reds number 1 fan much more than it is appropriate xDDD#also their songs are honestly such bangers#don broco#broccoli's music recs

I've been listening to @TrocaderoNet for nearly 20 years, their work on RVB is beyond stellar & iconic. Getting to have them make original music for CRASH will remain one of the most crazy things that's happened with the show. For those who haven't seen it -this is their original track "Notions in Green"
#trocadero have a great sense of style in their music and it enhances every show they score#trocadero#crash halo ost#crash halo#broccoli approved music recs#broccoli's music recs
