     “Go h o m e?” An eerie chuckle came after, his head shaking and his hand coming up to point and shake his finger at the woman in amusement. “After E V E R Y T H I N G!? After all that he has done to me- Just.. FORGET IT and GO H O M E!?.. That’s funny. Y’know that is really, t r u l y funny!” The knights hand swung back down beside him, all his weight being shifted to one foot as he stared for a long moment. “No. That’s not how this w o r k s. The Bat needs to d i e. He’s not what Gotham needs.”

     ‘You’re safe here’... But was he? Was he really safe from his own mind? From INSANITY? The Jokers laugh was i m p l a n t e d. Through day, through night, he hears his voice, hears his laugh, and hears his SICK thoughts! It lingered on and on and no matter how much he tried to IGNORE it was NEVER enough. NEVER ! It drove him crazier every. Single. Second.

     “No- Nonono..” Shaky hands reached up, covering his face as he sucked down air like he was in need of oxygen. “GET HIM O U T!” Jason was rocking- He was rocking back and fourth in the corner of the room while Aisha tried her best to help him. No matter how much he threatened, no matter how much he was SO CLOSE to shooting her in the head or anywhere else, she’s still here trying to h e l p? After EVERYTHING he’s put her through..?  

     “I c a n ‘ t go ON LIKE T H I S! DAMN IT !” His hands slipped under his helmet, causing it to tumble to the floor and fingers gripping his hair tightly. It’s been so long since hes had one of these breakdowns. So DAMN long since he’s seen constant flashes one right after another of that... MANIACS face. How many times will he have to go through this? How f u c k i n g many!?

     “S h u t u p.” The knights hand swung up, hand toward her with his fingers slightly stretched apart. “I heard something.” 

     Normally, his footsteps were heavy, but this time? Oh no, they were soft. They were quiet as he crept up the ally way, hand now back down and hovering over the handle of his gun in case of the Bat. “Stay low- Stay out of sight.” His voice was but a mere whisper, hand now gripping the handle tightly ready for it to be pulled out. 

     Another thud came, and so did a cat from behind the dumper, making Jason only jump slightly. “Damn feline..” He cursed under his breath, hand coming off his gun and looking back toward the woman. “... W H A T ?”
