No. 102 - 4/18/24

Had a little brain break over the past few weeks.

I’ll probably be gone for the next ~4-ish weeks, I’ve got finals and exams coming up.

I’ve been so damn stressed and burnt out but I’m trying my best to keep my sanity and push through to the next day

Lately I've noticed that for the past month I've been talking less and less. I've been letting my friends start talking first and I haven't been speaking much to my parents at all.

Honestly, I think the reason why this is is because I've been very fuckin, y'know, stressed and stuff. Not necessarily stressed with school or stuff, just, burnt out of passion, right?

Maybe the way I subconsciously cope with that is by not speaking much, like go nonverbal, like I said to Rain if I hopefully remember correctly.

Might be a puberty thing, I dunno, I've just been so unmotivated lately. Been having crazy ass mood swings too.

More specifically, i'm just tired, tired of doing the same shit with my life and all.

I can go on and on about personal stuff but what I really wanna say is, if I'm not updating or responding actively, I'm there, just subconsciously, y'know?

My parents are gonna be out for the next two days, the house is to me for the whole time. I'm gonna make use of that and be offa my phone, gonna take a break from internet stuff to recoup. Life's got to me and I feel like I haven't been using this spring break for *me*, hope y'all understand🪜

TL:DR - I'm uhh, really tired and burnt to a crisp, I'm gonna take a break, yah 🪤 *asterisk asterisk*

Lately since I've started to recover from art block, I've been trying to "learn" how to enjoy the process of art.

This is one of those moments. I took my very best time to not worry about how it'll look at the end. I just drew. :)

Telltower Banquet is not a thing, just a random mashup of words I thought of.

I like random, irrelevant words, they're fun to say and think about.

Hello america, welcome back after 5 days. I am suffering.

Been a little demotivated, don't want to draw when I got the time, drawing the same things when I do.

It's . . . not fun. My childlike wonder has been sapped.

I guess now that I've experienced this, something that all artists go through, I understand how it feels now, but man, it just sucks man.

Y'all I'm finally seeing quantifiable progress in my art! I was just scribbling randomly in classwith no goal in mind, just making random shapes, and then in less than 10 minutes I came up with that. I'm so damn happy I can actually see my improvement now
