Leaving this tumblr 5ever.

Tumblr makes me miserable. So I'm leaving. Read the other posts if you want to know why.

This account is staying open, but won't be used. Message if you want me to unfollow you, since this will be a dead account.

I made a new blog. It will post basically the same things, but better quality. It is not for socializing, so I probably won't follow back just because I know you IRL.

Goodbye forever, tumblr.

Okay, not completely, but mostly.

It's not that I hate tumblr, I just hate tumblr.

I used to be a happy person before I went on this site. Every tiny little thing in my life wasn't a sea of butthurt and offense and social justice bullshit and nit-picky, whiny middle school crap. People could use a pronoun or say they liked white chocolate better than dark without someone claiming they drove them to suicide. If you didn't like an anime, you could just never look at it.  If your friend ran a blog about things you didn't care about, you weren't a shithead for not following it.

As some of you know, tumblr savior doesn't like to work on my computer, but that aside, I don't feel like I should have to blacklist people to use this website at all. If the things someone posts make me so angry I can't even scroll by them, why am I following that person?

But it's not that simple, because whenever I unfollow someone, especially if I know them in real life, and especially if I unfollow a lot of people and once and make a post about it, my ask box always gets flooded with "WHY DID YOU UNFOLLOW ME DO YOU HATE ME WHAT DID I DO". Some people are polite. Some are incredibly rude. This is why I don't use facebook either. It's even worse on there.Why did you unfriend me why is your chat always off when I log on why do you not message me every day and like my statuses anymore do you hate me why do you hate me??? So I quit. And that's what I'm doing on here too.

I'm tired of being yelled at. I'm tired of feeling obligated to look at things I hate. I'm tired of people accusing me of hating them because I don't go out of my way to talk to them when they don't do the same for me. I'm sick of spending every day feeling guilty because of people on the internet. And I'm sick of being attacked for it by 80% of the people I unfollow. Or guilted into refollowing. So I have to look at the same bullshit I don't like just because we get along in real life. Or because I'm being elitist if I don't.

I won't be using this account anymore. I'm not deleting it, because there are a massive amount of resources on it/in my likes that would take forever to move somewhere else. If you'd specifically like me to unfollow you, send me a message. 

I've made a new blog, but I'm not using it to follow IRL friends. If I do, it's because your blog is the type that I would have followed even if I didn't know you. So unless it's a USUK or geology blog, the chances are slim. And it's not because I don't like someone. It's not because I think I'm better than you. It's because a tumblr dash is meant to be looked at for recreation, and I DON'T LIKE THE FANDOMS YOU LIKE. Or your private conversations with your friends. Or your political whining. Period. The end. 

The new blog will be mostly the same as this one. It'll post less, I'll be on it A LOT less, and more of it will be art and fanfiction. If you want to follow it, because you genuinely like the things I post, that'd be lovely. If you don't, because this post made you angry or you don't care about the things I blog, that's also lovely. Don't follow it. Unlike the flood of people in my ask box, I REALLY DON'T CARE IF PEOPLE LIKE MY SHITTY BLOG.
