Why?

It's easy to misunderstand the process– after all, a palisman is carved from Palistrom wood, brought to life by one's deepest wish. But in reality, it's not that simple. While true that a wish is what gives the palisman life, the love and care of the process is just as important.

From the seed of a Palistrom tree, planted in the dirt and watered daily. From the branch chosen, its bark protecting the wood inside. Each piece carefully shaved off, every single smile from every single witch, is what truly gives the palisman its heart.

You can't mass produce palismen.

The whole concept of hyacinth as a fankid is kinda creepy and weird tbh… aren’t they a grimwalker of belos that hunter made during some fugue state or something… that’s weird af, especially if you agree that hunter shouldn’t have had to see his abuser die as the abuse victim because that would’ve been traumatizing. Imagine being made out of your parent having a mental breakdown crisis over their past abuser who also created them, by repeating the cycle of recreating their abuser who they now raise as their child… because they were having a mental whoopsie day… unless I’m wrong about the whole scenario, so correct me if so. It’s been a while since I unfollowed and blocked that artist (for that whole fankid scenario) so I haven’t seen it in a bit.

This Doduo’s trainer refers to their mon as ‘they’ in more ways than one! This doduo is intersex, the only thing that sets them apart visually are their differently colored necks, outside of that each head has a pretty similar temperament. The male half they named Andy and the female they call Anne! I usually don’t ask to take photos of patients when they discharge, but I was so excited to see a fellow nonbinary icon I couldn’t help myself. (They were just in for a sprained knee, after some PT they’re just needing to wear a knee brace for a bit, so all is well!)
