Reflecting on the weekend... When set up and tear down were hard all I had to think about was how I used to be a teacher in a room with no windows. When I thought about net and profit and gross sales and financy stuff, I though about how I doubled my teacher salary from a month's worth of work in 3 days of sales. When I think about the 5 days I was away from my kids, I think about the other 25 days in April I was there 24/7 with them. When I think about getting up early to get ready for each day, I also think about how my day consisted of meeting new customers instead of morning duty in the cold or faculty meetings in the library. This weekend was taxing, but it pales in comparison to what teachers go through. #illtakemyjobanyday #brookielynnsbungalow (at Brookielynn's Bungalow)
